  1. I use about $10 a day in gas and I don't drive that far. I put like 25-30 miles a day on it.
  2. For only 900watts it hits hard enough to tickle your throat a little. I am taking it to have it metered this week to put a number to it.
  3. Ty. I still have Caddy tail lights and paint and body. For the most part it is straight there is a tiny spot if rust on it.
  4. I have been looking for two more G5 subs. My amp will push 900w @ 1ohm stereo. So a few weeks ago my best friend gave me a set he had. I had a sheet of MDF sitting here at work. It wasn't enough to build a box for all four so j just made a copy of the other box and just stacked them... I picked up this kenwood for free and put it in too... Because this is my haul all the kids around car and we do take it on road trips I'm working on a smaller box so we have more room... I have been told I can't spend any more money on my cars until after our wedding in June. I plan on building a box for all four subs. The bad part about Albuquerque is they don't do anymore sound comps.
  5. So about a year ago I ran across this Suburban on Craigslist for $500. It wouldn't start and the owner had no idea how to fix it. It was perfect for what I needed we have 4 kids so we needed something that would seat 6+. Growing up we had a suburban just like this and I loved it. Plus you can't beat $500 for any car. Went out and looked at it, it tried to start but wouldn't. I knew there wasn't much wrong with it. Turned out the distributor was one tooth off. So this is what it looked like (I had already taken off the running boards) when I got it. It has a 327ci out of a 68 vette in it and had a Th350 too. Before After The headliner was trashed so I had to fix that and while I was in there I wired in 3 dropdowns. Once that was done it was on to getting some sound out of it, so I started with the doors. I didn't want to cut holes out I wanted it to look custom... For subs I hooked up my Boston GT2200 and my G5 subs in a prefabed box for now. Then I built a box to Boston's specs. Some other things I have done to it over the past year... Next post will be the fun one...
  6. Looked. I have the cube itself I just need the knob. All I can find is the full unit.
  7. I had a CUBE years back and I fried it and one of my friends needed the knob a while back so I gave it to him. Wouldn't you know it one of our customers came in with two of them, one missing the knob. He gave it to me but now I have no knob. If anyone has one or knows a place where I can get one that would be great... Chris Carr [email protected]
  8. I'm selling my Rockford bd1501P amp 1500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms for $250 + shipping. Contact me here or on my cell (505) 450 5708. Chris Carr
  9. They are right they only talk crap because they can't hang. I use to have to deal with it when I would take my taurus to car shows. Once they saw the car the work that the car has 168000 miles on it and it looked like new inside and out. So I say bring on all the haters. lol
  10. That is cool. Like i said I don't hate on any thing really. We all have our favs. Me as you can tell it is Boston. I do love the old RF stuff
  11. Nice. I have a 1500db that I need to get fixed. I got it for free out of a truck. I don't really like the new RF stuff. I think that comes from working at Audio Express. Please don't kill me lol
