He does not have DVC's!! why keep making senseless posts when all of the specs are in his other thread?
and sorry im not gonna sit there and look thru for his older posts to find out what his subs are since he hasnt stated them in this thread... im trying to help him figure out a problem... and i wasnt about to sit and look thru threads to find his one where he said he had svc...
-
sorry i thought he said dvc... my bad
so try to wire them like this then, since they are svc...
-
now, do you have any pictures of your amp? what model is it 2? ill see if they are 1 ohm stable... i honestly didnt think they made 1 ohm stable amps...
that is how your subs need to be wired in the box...
-
You could also have 1 sub wired up 1 way and another wired up another way, and it could have shorted out one of your sub channels...
-
ok... now if your new amp that you get messes up just like your one you have now, and you come and make a new topic about it and get no love and no one wants to say anything other then get a diffrent brand amp... you'll understand why, you have had atleast 20 people say get a diffrent brand amp...
is your subs d2 or d4? just wondering so i can figure out what ohm load you have pushing it, did you rewire the subs as well? have you even taken them out? you could be at a 1 ohm load with the subs trying to do a 2 ohm load on the amp or vise versa

http://www.caraudiodeals.com/audiopipe-ap15001d-p-1452.html
its sold out right now, but 30 more bucks and i never once had a problem with that.... give it a shot.. i think you will like it better IMO
-
its not that, its just yours is overheating, other people have said they keep overheating, its not worth the risk to spend more money on something that will keep overheating, you need something thats built like a tank and doesnt get hot which is why people have suggested other things such as sundown or DAT or even audiopipes... theres other better amps out there.
-
i still say get a new amp and see if that works, and not kenwood... if your runing d4 ohm get a ap15001d from audiopipe... you wont have any problems with it like you have with the kenwood...
-
plz instead of making new threads about this problem go get a new amp and not a kenwood amp, and see if the problem still happends.... and check your sub wiring

2 18s at 400 a piece? give or take, i dont know the price on 2 lvl 4 XL 18s but PM WCA Rusty and get a price quote, that will be louder then those 3

what kinda car is it going in? you may not need to upgrade the ALT right off the bat but invest in some batteries....
-
you'll have to adjust where it is, i dont know how big that box is, looks about 6 cubes... but my box is almost all the way back to my seats and firing off the middle of the window
-
i have a integra with a similar box... subs up port up, its 8 cubes roughly tuned to 33 hz.... and i found that moving the box back and firing it off the window hits alot harder... not off of the rear trunk area.. if that makes sense
-
have you tried to pull the box back and fire the port off the window? just curious
-
so you re wired them and now everything is fine?
-
good find, but the batts dont even look like they are hooked up atleast to me they dont !
love the doors 2

That is a decent Price and as for Ordering one Online you might want to check with the Local Shops first to see if they will even Install one around my Area that is a No we don't Install something we didn't Sell...
that sounds like those shops lose alot of money because of that, installs alone can be alot of money comming in... thats why i love all the car audio stores around here. They will install whatever you want if you bring it or buy it from them.. they do really good business 2
-
pix of it in your car plz?
-
nice, you will love them !
-
true... But you will have too if you start a MMO... unless you buy a toon...i just gave a suggestion since they have mercs now which can help on leveling
-
i said have more then 1 account, not buy some one elses account...
-
4x sundown 3500s? 2 per sub!
-
EQ1 is still pretty fun, they have a new function in the game to help out where you can hire mercenaries to group with you and work for you, they are NPCs tho *non player characters* but i suggest having more then 1 account if you play it...
-
it is possible one of your speakers are blown, i had a similar problem with my highs amp as one of my highs were blown and it was shorting out the amp, go thru your mid/high amp and take each speaker out at a time and play the song to see if it does it.

i read thru most of it.. that was 2 days ago... i read alot of stuff on here.. just like you said on the first page, he has been popping fuses the amp overheats ect.. which is why i said he just needs to stay away from kenwood amps... and to try a diffrent amp with those subs and he prob wont have a problem
