    typically u would see a little db gain but the bass will be tons cleaner i went from 147.4 to a 47.9 but the cleaness of the bass was alot better and to your ear it sounded louder

    uummmmmm why would there be "pin holes" in a subwoofer, maybe screwdriver holes or somethin along the lines of that but like james said if it is just pin holes id just bump it if u get it cheap enough
