  1. Yeah why did you buy a HP in the first place if you wanted to overclock...Lol You should know better . All mainstream manu's have custom bios's so their warranties or terms of agreement aren't voided.
  2. Nah your setup is decent. Doesn't affect me, but all I would recommend as a fellow computer user, is to overclock the shit out of that e8600. Don't get me wrong, that e8600 is a hell of a OC'r. Any of intel's 45nm parts overclock very nicely, since they run pretty damn cool. An Aaron I've barely said anything on this forum and I was just trying to point out something that I felt was fishy.
  3. I think that is complete BS. Over here you stated that you have a... QUOTE (Duece22 @ Jun 5 2008, 01:12 AM) * Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz 1000 Watt Power Supply Dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 4g DDR3 Ram NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard 1TB 7,200RPM Hard drive 26" Samsung Flat Panel Monitor Logitech G51 Surround Sound Speaker System Pretty much it. I game on it mostly. Games like Age of Conan, Crysis, Call of Duty 4, World of Warcraft.. etc Seriously if you knew shit about computers, you wouldn't put dual 4870x2's on a e8600. Unless you're a skilled over clocker and get that above 4ghz on air. That's a hell of a bottle neck. Personally I would like more proof. But I may be wrong and that is actually your setup.
  4. Nice... Samsung makes nice TV's.. I have one of their new lcds for my game systems. W/ HDMI 1.3 n stuff is teh seccs. I should have done that for my pc also instead of that gateway 30inch!
  5. Actually AMD and ATI are NOT splitting up. AMD owns ati, amd straightened out ATI. Currently ATI/AMD has the fastest cards on the market. Simply they're going to have a design company and a manufacturing company. The management is kinda fucked.
  6. Since you are using some dominator ram. Might as well put that ram to work, cuz that setup is begging for a OC. You can prlly get it into the 3.3 - 3.6 range safely with a stock cooler.
  7. Any extreme edition intel processors is pointless. Unless you're a crazy over clocker. Personally you can get a hell of a OC on their regular processors. I would go with a intel e8600 a 3.33ghz dual core w/ a 6mb cache. If you're looking for a decent quad core a Q9450 or q9300 will work perfectly. As far as amd a Phenom 9950 BE quad core should work perfectly fine, it's only 173ish on newegg. If you can wait amd is releasing their 45nm parts later this year.
  8. Have fun bottle necking with two gtx 280's on that proc. But anyways nice setup. What res do you play at?
  9. Same issue here I have been hearing mix things about DD's. Currently I am searching for a new woofer and I want something that is SQL, I don't know how correct DD's site is. But for the DD9500g's it says 'The 9500 'g' Series might be the ultimate woofer, hand assembled to the tightest tolerances in order to reproduce music as exact as possible, at whatever volume level you desire. ' All I want to know is if it can actually reproduce music as exact as possible with clarity.
  10. If money is an issue go for a rf P1000-1bd.
  11. Got one today for lunch. It was alright, I was expecting it to be a bigger taco. Good thing I got a Burrito Supreme w/ that.
  12. If I had that type of money, I would take a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport.
  13. It's a nice car. But I personally like Ferrari's a lot more. Also yesterday I was reading the October edition of Road and Track, an they had some various top 10 lists for 2009 model cars. An the worst fuel efficient car was a v12 lambo, an surprisingly not the Bugatti Veyron.
