  1. I am running (2) of the 12" SoloBaric L5's with a Memphis PR-1000D (until my rebuild) I have to be honest these are some nice subs. They have never quit on me, I know they aren't the top dog out there but they do sound good. I got these because I was getting ready to try and compete for another company (I won't mention the name but it Really Did not come together for my Audio needs). So until I finish my rebuild these will do

  2. alot of hoopla about the FI subs, not saying there bad cause i looked into some myself, but check out the CXT monsters from TREO and see what you think, these subs are for high spl only

I have never owned these subs but I did go to a show in KC and this guy had a Caprice Wagon and a Tahoe and they sounded pretty good, for the price, I'm going with the Fi BTL's

  3. well my questimation is us ing davids sketch:

    3.481cuft

    no bracing

2 4" ports 11" deep since it needs 1/2 the radius in clearance thats as long as it can be without a bend

    37.37hz

    which should work

edit....opps i cant do math lol... changed #s

So will this box work for the BTL?

  4. umm 10s maybe

    closest i got was:

    30x16x18

    40sqin port(which is really small)

    3cuft

    thats enough for 1 15 or a little big for 2 10s... u need 3.6cuft minumum for 2 12

The box I have now is 16 x 36 x 14, It is a ported box for my Kicker L5's. If I kept that size would it work?

  5. Okay I need help! I have NEVER built an enclosure before, but I am wanting to build one for my (hopefully) new subs, I want the Fi Audio 12 BL's. I am going to run 2 of them in a ported box. I will tune it to around 35Hz and I am going to power the subs with the Sundown Audio SAZ-3000D. My specs are as follows: H, L, D) 16 x 30 x 18. This is going in the back of a 97 Toyota Camry. I don't know which will sound better: subs firing up, port to the rear or subs and port both to the rear. Can someone please help with a design for this thing? Thanks!
