I know. We seriously need to switch over to a rubber or polyurethane roller. And just FYI, I use a J roller for the larger areas and my hands for everything else... not a fan of the wooden rollers at all. I used the plastic handle of a screw driver last time and it worked pretty good, I'll probably just do that again

What makes it improper??? Lol! the 10 port area per foot makes it improper is what he was implying probably. If you plan on getting 2 more lvl 5's later i would go with.. them . Smaller ports will actually play a wider range of frequencys than a larger one will... look at techforces SPLHell and Frankenstein. Yes it wont be as loud but it will play wider. I believe he said Frankenstein will play 8hz-80hz no problem. That larger the port the more of a 1 note wonder it becomes...

So I'm in the process of putting my blazer back to original and selling it, The reason for this is I just need something bigger... Ive been on the hunt for a 00-06 tahoe and found a few but really need to sell my blazer first. Anyways to the point of this post, I am stuck in between 2 system for my new ride. 4 LVL4 18s in a Sub Up Port Up box, 31hz, 190 port area,10 port area per foot. (Not the best but would be a ground pounder!) Or... 2 LVL5 18s in a sub up port back box, 35hz,261 port area, 21.8 port area per foot. Ether way it will be ran of a DC5k at 1ohm, I compete in MECA and I'm leaning towards the 2 LVL5 18s because its more or a SPL type build but at the same time I want a daily system that i can still beat on all day. Ive been going back and forth for like a week and just cant deiced.

I bought it brand new(I Thought my head unit went out and it didnt so) I checked to make sure this one worked before I sold it(hence the CD in the radio). And it didnt come with a wiring harness when I bought it.
