So I hook this all up and bam nothing it has something ive never seen before. It has a ground that u hook to the body and not the other ground. Hey guys, I know its been a while since ive been on here, but I have a question. Ok so I recently installed a system in a 1998 ford F-150. I did the power wire on the right side (passenger) signal on the left(driver). I made sure everything was good all tight and all. So about a week later I get a call that some of the gauges take longer to come on the dash like the odometer and all. I didn't know what it was figured it was no big deal. Then now I hear that the 4 wheel drive wont switch. I hear its probably something electrical with the switch. Is this something the system did? how would I go about fixing something like this?

So I was just thinkin that I need to upgrade my system to keep up to please myself. Well Currently I have a 15" kicker L7 dual 2 ohm and a power acoustik amp. I think I could step my game up by getting a fi btl 15" or a dc lvl5 15". To do this I made a list for the new stuff I would need. Check my work and tell me if I am missing something or if something is cheaper. Stinger 0 AWG Wire Kit: $99.00 Kinetik HC1400: $169.98 Rockford Fosgate T10001bd: $399.99 New Box: $60-70 Wiring kit for battery in back:????? And thats all I got for now but any suggestions

No problem for the link and I think I will be fully opening up my business when I get my shit straight, but good luck with yours. That just oppened up my eyes. I think I am gonna make boxes for myself first then do others. In my town people know me as the die hard car audio kid. The thing is its gonna be a side job. I currently have a job at sears hardware and am droppin four hundy today on a tool chest and a 260 peice mechanics tool set. The tools wont be a problem because If you look at my build thread my grandpa has 5 of everything and he said he likes to see me work out there and when he passes will give me all the tools. I have quite a bit to think about and I appreciate the feedback.

I understand thats why I am now thinking I am gonna wait til after my blowthrough build to really start opening for business. The best thing I can do now is build boxes for my family and friends. When I started in this game I had a kid build me a box for my two 15" MA Audio subs. He made me a ported enclosure and messed up. The hole for my subs were too small and too close together. He also didnt measure my trunk openings and messed up by making it to big. I make sure I double check everything and even make a box out of carboard to check. I appreciate the feedback good and bad because I need to learn.
