  1. The under hood insulation on my 91 3KGT VR4 is shit. Can I use some of my B Stock under there without it coming down all over the engine?

    Wait, you have a 3/S?? Me too! I have a '95 N/A.

People stick it to their roofs, so the only difference that I can imagine under the hood is heat.

It says online "High temperature butyl adhesive with increased elastomeric properties"

Maybe you can do a DampPro/Heatwave Pro combination. The site says it can be put on top of Damp/DampPro.

Jon will have to chime in.

Yep, two turbos and a whole lot of ass! But the under hood insulation is garbage. I am going to tear it out and damp pro it real quick

  2. grab a car battery and some jumper cables. Clamp the cables to the battery (ensure the other end clamps are not touching), clamp the negative of the other end to one end of the wood. Grab a multimeter and turn it on to volts dc. Clamp one of the leads to the positive jumper cable clamp and touch the other lead to the wood. Shit, dig it in a bit if you want. If you get ANY voltage reading your wood sucks! I am just kidding, sort of. If you get a voltage reading then for some reason no one could convince me of that wood is conductive. If not, which I am sure of there will be no need to insulate the wood.

But you will see very quickly that a 2x4 can act as an insulator and that you will be just fine without all of the extra protective measures...

  3. Romney opposed taxpayer help.

"If General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye," Romney wrote in a November 2008 opinion article in the New York Times. "It won't go overnight, but its demise will be virtually guaranteed."

General Motors posted a record profit last year.

  4. "I pushed the idea of a managed bankruptcy, and finally when that was done, and help was given, the companies got back on their feet," Romney said in an interview inside a Cleveland-area auto parts maker. "So, I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry has come back."

I thought it was bullshit reporting of a half ass story, but he is REALLY saying this!
