I currently have 4 dual 2 Ohm voice coil subwoofers wired down to 1 ohm to a single amp. Since the RMS rating of the amp if 2600 watts, i'm guessing i'm getting 650 watts per sub.
Is it possible to wire 3 subs in series/parallel down to 1.33 Ohms and add the 4th sub wired in parallel at 1 Ohm to a single amp channel?
First of....will that even work and second, if it does will it give me est. 0.65 ohms???? I know its not safe load to run the amp at but i am power hungry and want to squeeze all the power i can get. If i toast the amp so be it....more of a reason to get 2 new amps. Just don't want to burn my truck.
thanks in advance for any help and support!
