  1. wtf 2 18's in a blazer.. in a T-LINE?!?!?! did you make a wall or something?. also what's the tuning on it.?
  2. so if he had 2 subs he could get a 1ohm load buuuuuuuutttt. i read his original post wrong, i skimmed over and though he was getting 2 subs, not just one, my bad then yeah you would go with D2vc
  3. or get a good 1000watt amp and get D1s ssd's and wire them to 1ohm, either way i'd still get atleast the bp power option
  4. couldn't he get like a t-block after the fuse holder that goes to both amps, or would be be drawing too many amps through that fuse?
  5. yeah i would think you'd want fuses on both power wires, and someone correct me if i'm wrong, just saying
  6. wow i haven't checked this topic for a while but thanks guys and yeah a wall would be cool but i'd rather try and do maybe 4 15's in a wall in the future, not sure about 2 12's lol and trust me moore, with my t-line in there it was hella close to my tailgate, i had to deaden that sheet cause of all the rattling coming from it
  7. how big of an amp is it? could be low voltage maybe?
  8. shoot i think my first wiring kit i got from walmart for like $25 bucks, but i soon upgraded to 1/0 awg and got into a whole new ball park of car audio, but yeah i mean when your dealing with 4 gauge... i wouldn't worry to much about how good of quality it is and stuff, any of those i seen in the posts from other people on this topic look like decent kits and would work...
  9. Thanks man that's exactly what i was asking...
  10. no i know you can tune your box to whatever you want, i've already built like five, but i've been curious to try this design out just to see how it sounds... i'm not new to building boxes and what not, i know about tuning i was just asking if that design can be modified to the way i explain in my first post...
  11. Well that's the thing I won't be using those subwoofers even though the design is meant for them I will... we'll not me, but a buddy will be using 2 12's Audiobahn Alum12n subwoofers and the tuning from those specs that i figured up was around 29hz...
  12. So a long time ago I came across for a vented enclosure by Diamond Audio as the picture below... This picture shows the that each sub has their own chamber and the ports are on the outer edges of the box... My question is is it possible to leave the center divider there, but change the ports around so that the ports are in the middle, but with the center divider there and each sub would still be in it's own chamber, or will this affect the tuning and mess everything up? Any and all responses are appreciated... and if you have and other questions to help your response just ask...
  13. seems like this design would take up a lot more space instead of a small, petite sealed box....
  14. if you went ported you can build a rectangular box with a slot port which the internet has many of... unless your dead set on going sealed
  15. 2 12's is roughly 189.970 sq inches... 3 10's is roughly 190.755 sq inches... and... 4 8's is roughly 153.860 sq inches... so either 2 12's or 3 10's are pretty close to each other... hope this was of some assistance to your final decision...
  16. The *** trash does look pretty sweet... my 2 cents would be Fi Q, i have one, i like it and it handles the lows real well if put in a properly built box for it..
  17. get some sine sweeps and do some and try and listen to where it peaks idk? you can probably estimate it's tuning by that..
  18. camera + bass = shitty lol, but naw it looks nice, i wouldn't mind doing somethingl ike that in my 96 blazer..
