Eh not exactly I went through almost 2 bottles of titebond II and it definitley holds the wood together but its not viscous enough to qualify as a sealant. I have also tried liquid nails, but its too malleable when it cures.
Also a bit OT here but while I have this thread up, does anyone know the best way to clean off woofers surrounds? My 18s got a bit dusty during construction and I don't to damage the foam surrounds with chemicals.
Adhesive automotive silicone for the box corners and good 'ol WD-40 for your surround

) is your BL per sqin of cone. 5 lvl 5 18s would be cool but your using 5 motors to move X amount of cone when you can use same X amount of cone and use say 8 XLs to get more controll over your moving mass. Also with power compression and rise it just gets stupid ha ha. When your playing music in the 30s at 162+db I can only imagine how important these factors really become. Grats A team for having such a sick setup -

Yeah but I don't remember if that's a sale price or not, it could have very well gone up since then. They had everything in that damn store on sale when I was doing everything in fleece.

It might be worth it to drive down to sac... Then your not risking getting a bad color and don't have to wait for shipping and its still pretty damn cheap (last I checked my local shop had it for 2.50 a yard )

i think noob meant w/o fiberglass the box could leak air and there goes some db's
I meant, glass and bracing are overdone to prevent the open panels from converting the acoustic energy out of the box instead of out the port. To many screws are just silly.

has anyone ever had a box fail because they didnt put more screws in, or fiberglass every edge?
I've never had one fail, but the reason people feel tempted to do that IMO is to stop each panel from individually, more efficiency = moar DeeBeez
