  1. cha cha slide i'm not gonna count because it's not really rap/hip-hop but i'll have to listen to the other 2. never heard of em.
  2. so i'm looking to put together a cd of rap/hip-hop dance songs. most i want a dance with, but if not, something that is close to it. so far i have Ay Bay Bay Crank That Lean Wit It 2 Step Walk It Out In The Ayer Swing so can you name any others? i'd like to have about 14-16 songs on a CD. thanks guys. EDIT: And i have pop lock and drop it.
  3. dang.........i think i'm gonna stick with the 15"s and whatnot. i think it'll be better in the end. i just can't go lookin anymore. lol. i get ideas. thanks for reading my rant guys.
  4. alright. i'm gonna take your guys word on this because you guys know. but the amps on their site don't look bad, right????
  5. it seems as though ever time i want to do something, something else comes up. or i have a new idea for a build. before, it was DC in a tahoe. then i changed the amps. then it was DD. now i have no idea. so i wanted to start a build on my moms van for my first build because i don't have a truck yet. so i thought, 2 kickers would be nice. had a box planned out and everything. then i saw 15's for sale. i want 15"s instead. so i changed to 15"s which the amp i still have not decided. so now i saw 2 12"s for cheaper then 1 15" and i thought "whoa, i can get 4 12"s for cheaper then 2 15's and i have more cone area" so now i want 4 12"s. my issue is, if i get the 4 12"s, i need a larger amp so each of em get around 700-900W each, where as if i go with 2 15's, i can get a smaller amp then that and give them each 1K watts. and money is an issue right now. i can pull off 1 15" with an amp right now, and get the other 15" in a couple months, but to get 4 12"s, i can get 1 set of 12's right now, in about a month, get the other set, then get the amp like sometime toward christmas if i'm lucky. so i'm SOOOOO confused on what to do right now. i have NO idea what i want. and every time i want something, i see something else that may be better. this SUCKS! end rant/ EDIT: ohh and did i mention that everytime i decide on something new, there becomes an issue? one that is bigger then the last.
  6. any opinions on the subs? as i said, it looks pretty beastly, but it's only pics. and for the price, it can't be bad.
  7. i know. it doesn't look bad though. and probably isn't for the price. but idk if i should trust it or not.
  8. idk. i checked the Q Power site and either Q Power needs to update or they aren't Q Power. and they don't seem to have any markings that would say what brand they are.
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/2-NEW-Q-POWER-15-3000W...93%3A1|294%3A50 so i was looking at specs for Q Power subs and that ebay thing was there. something just strikes me wrong about it. i don't think i'd trust that at all but what do you guys think?
  10. well i'll try for same wattage but idk. i have ideas running through my head like crazy right now. we'll see.
  11. lol. no, i'm just gonna do 1 15" on 1 small amp and just slowly move up from there. it's nothing big. i should be just fine. if not, then i'll have my bro come on and say i'm dead from bass. lol. i should be fine though with just 1 15". we'll see. but 6 of the Q Power 15"s would be pretty sick. check out ROE and the Q Power. a guy has 6 of em and he has some wicked flex. :hairtrick:
  12. lol. 2 kicker cvx's on 2100W. this 15" is a Q Power 15" on about 1000W is what i'm aiming for.
  13. lol. well i was thinking, getting some cheaper 15"s and putting more in will be louder, even though they won't handle as much power. but i'm getting my first 15" within the week so i'll be starting a build log along with the box.
  14. okay, so which is better? cone area or wattage? let's say i get 6 15"s that handle 1500W a piece. 1500 X 6 = 9000W 3.14 X (7.5 X 7.5) = 176.62 X 6 = 1059.72 IN of cone area. now also let's say that i put ohh......6K watts to those 6 15"s now, on the other hand, let's say i could put 2 18"s that handle 5000W a peice. 5000 X 2 = 10,000W 3.14 X (9 X 9) = 254.47 X 2 = 508.94 IN of cone area now put 9K watts to the 2 18"s. would the cone area still over rule the wattage? and don't get into the whole box thing. i know a big part of it is the box.
  15. how about red nose? i LOVE that song. it kinda gets me goin.
  16. O.O holy crap! lol. wow that's alot. well, i'll have plenty of music now. lol. thanks guys. for all of your help. i REALLY needed this. :clapping:
  17. i would've gone today, but it me and my girls annversity today. so i couldn't go. :'( i should've dragged her along. lol
  18. i have no idea who would want to. if only i knew someone....... :01nocomment8so:
  19. that isn't the same one, but it's sweet to see what a good 8" can do. i thought i would've had to go with like $70 tang band or something. but $40 for a pretty good one isn't all that bad.
  20. sweet. you guys are REALLY helping me out with this. i didn't even think of much 80's music or MJ. i haven't heard the other ones but i'll give em a shot. i need all the music i can get!
  21. well, my mom is gettin married on monday and i'm in charge of music. i have some put together but i need more. the reception is about 3 hours long. i have a few songs but i need more dance music. any ideas??? it's mostly gonna be older people there so no like......rap or hiphop or anything. just some good dance music will do. thanks guys
  22. lol. funky pups FTMFW!!! i'm gonna do it! now, 10 T15K's that's........$250,000??? i can do that right now! :D lol. but yes, i'm thinking about trying it out. it's worth a shot. but yea, it's weird. idk why an 8"
  23. dang. well, i don't have that much power anyways but i just was wondering. as for a box, i guess i'll just have to do the guess and check method.
  24. anyone see the RMS on it?? or maybe even the peak so i have an idea?? or some kinda idea for a box for it? lol. i don't see much on it.
