  1. So I'm assuming you approve? I love the way it modeled, I was messing with the FI BTLN2 12 also, and it didn't do well at all... I may even pick up a Lv4 12 and put the design to use.

    Any other comments people? :)

You can build it for mine...

Do you have a Lv4 12"? Your local enough that I could actually do eet... Lol

    look at sig /stagewhisper

    lol

  2. im glad yall can at least acknowledge his skill. i had fags on other forums gettin all butthurt cause it apparently doesnt look like a reall veyron, which is bs lol, and cause it wont go as fast. dude still did the shit by hand by himself and fiberglassed the whole thing. ijs

If you can spot the differences between this and a real Veyron, you seriously need to get out of your house. You may even get laid.

  3. i asked this before but it wasnt answered...for people who use ipods only, can u just copy the cd to your ipod and use the dd-1 to set the gains by using the ipod??...or does it HAVE TO be with the test disc?..i ask because an ipod is usually louder than a cd and if u set your gains with a cd and then swap to an ipod, the gains wouldnt be set properly for that device, right??

Fyerbyrd22 I think I can answer this one. But someone else please chime in if I am correct.

I believe from what I could gather, the best method to use would be to use the most often used form. So if you used your ipod 99% of the time to listen to your music in your car, then rip the songs off the disk and put em on your ipod, and use your ipod to tune it, if you listen to CD's 99% of the time then use the CD to tune it.

I gather that the CD is just to provide the exact clean, non clipped, tones for tuning.

But someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think it would matter which way you do it. Because either way you are setting your gains to the MAX they can be w/o any distortion. But I think i see what your saying.. so if anyone else wants to throw in some input on this do so.

It would depending upon the media player used. If you set it though CD, you'll be using "0db" (don't know if this is the correct terminology, but bear with me). When you rip it to your computer, you'll have some losses due to compression. When you transfer to your iPod, if you connect through the headphone jack, the iPod may boost the output by a few DB.

It does make a difference. Will the difference be large enough to cause you a problem? Likely not. Set your gains by the method you most often listen to music.

  4. a lot of the time, you cant use prepaid visa on a lot of sites.

I've never had a problem, and I've dropped well over $1000 using them. You just have to register the card first.

@OP you shouldn't have a problem using that visa to buy any of those sub's.

  5. Also don't make the same mistake I did. Get the 32 gig at the very least. Being that you will use this for music, if you have a music collection of any real size, you will go over.

Right now I have 30 gigs used. Since I also use the camera connect kit, I bought the 64 gig. And this is after having bought the 16 gig months before.

    It's just money, right? *cries*

  6. No headunit will charge the iPad worth a damn. 1a chargers won't output enough power. And I'm fairly certain most if not all headunits will output less than 1a.

If I were in your position, I'd try and find a cable that has a breakout where you can connect via USB to the headunit, but you can pull power from a cig. lighter.

  7. Oh I know, and I'm such a perfectionist, if I couldn't get the vinyl to stick on right I'd rip it off and have to start over... I've destroyed so many stickers out of frustration trying to get them to apply perfectly...

I think there's carbon fiber vinyl that's thicker though and can be applied using a heat gun which would probably make things a lot easier

If you can get your hands on it 3M Di-Noc is some seriously good shit. I haven't messed around with many car vinyls, but I have applied a bunch of skins on mobile devices. Never have I had a product apply so easy , look as good, and actually have me feel that it would provide abrasion protection. And bubbles work themselves out due to how it's made.

This is definitely something you'd want to look into.
