it doesn't look like a sub. it has the shapes and forms of a sub but i think the big E in the middle of it plus it being shiny makes it just look like an E in a black circle. everything else looks cool though.

yeah don't get me wrong. i would love to own some sundowns. but i am currently happy with all of my audioque amps at the moment until i get my "for the sound" fund filled up and i can upgrade to some of your products.

yea they are great subs but WAY to overpriced. you could buy ten subs that will sound better and be a shit load louder for that price.

those are great subs. i've heard one in a sealed box at a demo one time and it sounded great. think better sq than a w7 but louder.

nice. i would like to see some head to head tests on 13.8, 14.4, 16, and 18 volts. i'm sure you'll win on all though with cleaner watts.

the AQ is still beefy man. its just the sundown makes the AQ look small

it might be coil rub as well. your just gonna have to pull the sub out and check it out.

are you sure it is the subs and not something else rattling? turn off your mids/highs and just play bass. its always easier to chase rattles like that. i agree with the bottoming out/tinsel slap ideas also though. and the air leaking out can sound like a rattle sometimes since it comes out with alot of velocity, so get a good seal first and see if it fixes the problem.

if those amps are strapable then yea that would be the better, easier way.

yeah you want the amps to be setup as close as you possibly can. i'm guessing you got dual 1 ohm coils right? edit: sorry i read it wrong when i did this about a year ago i set both amps up with a DMM and an o-scope. make sure they are putting out the same volts. if you are off by a couple of tenths of so it will be fine but you don't want one putting out 36 volts and the other amp doing 18 volts. i say volts because thats what the multimeter will read. you can convert the volts to watts to see output if you want.

yeah. headers, intake and a tune up and your truck will feel alot better. couple ideas for tune up. check o2 sensors and clean them off, new plug wires, clean tb and maf sensor, fuel filter, new oil and filter.

most of them make about 140 hp and 200 ft. lbs torque at the wheels. you need a supercharger for that thing.

3.4 L six cylinder rated at 190 hp and 220 lb·ft of torque. intake will help bro.

if you have an exhaust and your truck is running good then yea it will make a difference. the biggest difference you will notice will be the increase in exhaust noise and a slight intake noise. it will make your truck sound alot better.

yea. any GOOD aftermarket intake will include a place to mount the maf or have a maf adapter. this: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=77-2514KP you see the MAF adapter between the filter and intake tube.

^^^seems normal to me. alot of cars are like that. and any good aftermarket intake will have a bong (not that kind, stoner) welded into it for that MAS to mount into.
