Id drive it but I bet that steering wheel would take some time to get used to -
I think the rear end of that car looks just fine.
And the OP's car is very cool too. Over the edge, and outside of the box, is usually where my head is at anyway :-)

Hey 99GPGTX, first off, severe back pain is fresh in my mind ! I just missed 3 days of work, 3 weeks ago, from a totally jacked up back !
So here's the thing, I had never been to a chiropractor in my life, and like you, I expected the out of pocket costs to be rediculously high ! I mean hell, I went to a dentist a little while ago for a few X rays, and 1 filling... $240 !!!
So yea' I was thinking $300... $400... more ?
So then I was talking to my boss, and he said, I could probably see a chiropractor for like $40 or $50. I totally couldn't believe, that in this day and age, you could even a get somebody with a doctrates degree to say hello to you, for less than a couple hundred bucks. But I called the local place my boss recommended, and first off, they got me in to see the Dr. 1 1/2 hours later ! Second, they charged me $50 ! Plus, they said after that initial visit, any future visits would only be $40 ! Hell ya ! I can afford that !
But here's the best part. I went in the room where they put these electrodes on my back, and a heating pad (felt really good actually) then he did the ripping back crack, both directions.... Then he asked me to slowly stand up, and Holy $#!+ ! No more effed up binding feeling.... At all ! Now I'm not going to kid you, the muscles were still sorer than shit, from my 2 days of twisting and turning, and trying (unsuccessfully) to pop my own back. But my spine felt straight, and I was able to go back to work the next day.
Anyway, in retrospect, my first and only trip to the chiropractor was a 100% positive thing ! And the next time I throw my back out of whack, I'm not going to lay around for 2 or 3 days in pain.... Instead, I'm going to get straight in my car, and get my ass straight to that chiropractor, to straighten my shit out !
I don't have time to lay around hurting !
Hope you get yourself fixed ASAP. Like I said, I know how bad that sucks !

Yes, and in fact, I don't think the judge should have even allowed the Goldman family to be there. This case {should have} had nothing to do with them, of course we see that in reality, it had more to do with them, than anything else.
Honestly, I'm not sure who is more stupid..... Simpson, or the courts... But it has to be really close.

So here's the two really stupid things about OJ and both (I'm sorry.... all three) of his trials.
Okay, so he was TOTALLY guilty of murder, but in this country, if you have enough money, you can usually (not always) be found innocent. Well, like it or not, he was found innocent.
However {and this is the part that will never make any sense to me, if I live 500 fucking years} he was found guilty in the civil suit, of that same murder..... Huh ? Uh... well, your not guilty of the murder..... But you owe us $1.9 shitloads, because our daughter got murdered.
Oh yea..... This judicial system makes all kinds of fucking sense, don't it ???
So, now after all this time, the dumb ass goes and does something REALLY stupid..... I mean so stupid, he should just be slapped ! Now, I mean that both litterally, and figuratively. Like, confiscate all of his shit he was trying to recover, and throw it in an incinerator. Fine him for all the court costs. And give him maybe.... I dunno.... 364 days in a county jail.
IMPO, that's all a person should get for stupidity. I mean, he didn't murder anybody "this time", and honestly, I don't think he intended to. This time all he's guilty of, is being a complete dumbass.
Now granted, none of this should have never happened in the first place, because he should have already been sitting in prison, for life without parole, for murder........
However, rediculous as it may seem, he was found "not guilty" of that crime. And based on that, he should not have had to give 1 nickel to the family of the woman he murdered.....
And now, all these years later, I TOTALLY believe that the prosecuters botched conviction of Simpson in his original trial, has EVERYTHING to do with why they tried to blow Simpsons latest dumb-fuck move completely out of proportion.
It's like, you can kill somebody, and get away with it..... Then later, you get a traffic ticket, and they give you 20 years.
The whole fucking court system should be ashamed of itself.

This is some really effed up shit ! My landlord had a Laptop stolen from his car, on our driveway about 3 weeks ago. {amazingly, it was actually recovered a week later by police... but we know what a fluke that was, right ?}
My neighbor had his van broke into last week. All they got there was his kids back pack, with school work and such, but they jacked his vehicle up getting to it.
My partner right around the corner, had his Honda broke into, and stereo stolen 3 nights ago.

Now, I'm just about to put a relatively high dollar system in my truck, and leave it parked on the same effed up streets :-( Needless to say, I'm REALLY concerned. I don't want to use the word 'paranoid', as I don't think I'm worrying for nothing, like they are all out to just get 'me'....... I'm not tweeking. I'm being realistic here.
Sure, I have a nice alarm, with all the options..... but still.....
Any suggestions on what to do about the rash of thefts in this area ?

I bet those tires and wheels cost more than my 08' F150 ! What are those anyway, 30" ??? Custom tires and wheels for sure !

Okay, so the first one is > Teh ....... I guess this is just a REALLY frequent mispelling of the word > The..... But I've even seen this used in Sigs.... leading me to wonder if some guys purposely spell 'the', as 'Teh' because they find it amusing or something ?
The other one..... and I don't know WTF this would be a mispelling for, is > 'Meh' ........uhhhh..... say again ? WTF are they trying to say here ?
Not saying I never ef up when I'm typing.... or never miss it in my proofreading..... just never (that I can remember) with the words 'The' ...... or 'Meh' whatever TF that means....
My most common one {and I think its actually funny enough to repeat ;-) is that nearly every time I type the word 'hour', I screw it up and leave out the 'u' ! :-) Yea', so I worked for 8 hors today. That's always fun. Doh ! :-) LOL

Bad ass interior too. I'm just not sure if I like all the external stainless steel fuel tanks / steps (like on this orange one) or, the cleaner, smoother factory look, like on this one:
Unfortunately, this is probably not a decision I'll be forced to make :-)

If I could afford a truck like that, I doubt that insurance {or gas :-) would be much of a problem.
Anyway, here's one for you....
Did you know that in the state of CA, you can put up a cash bond (it used to be $100K, but maybe more now) in lieu of insurance ? That's right, if you have enough $$$, you don't have to pay insurance bills.

You do know once you get a truck like that, insurance is paid for per mile, not a set amount per month, right?That's what my grandpa told me about his F-550 and F-650.

It's an F650, totally custom fabricated from the back of the front cab seats, all the way to the rear bumper !
I think it's cooler than shit :-) Granted, I'd stick with four, much more agressive, and bigger yet, AT or MT tires. And if your going to create a truck as over the top as this, why would you try to keep the paint job so stock looking ? I mean, it's not like, this way, nobody is going to notice you ! LOL Mine would have to have natural flames.... but in poison green, and definately a bunch of carbon fiber.....
But anyway, this would make for a bad ass "starter" truck :-)
Oh.... This one has 6 custom leather Captains chairs, with video screen for each.... But I think it really only needs the front two, with a wall behind them :-)

Hey BigPimpin, it's all good. Hope I didn't sound like too much of a dick, with my alcohol rant ;-) I try not to go off too much about it.... It's just kind of a 'hot button' for me. Doh !
BTW, I'm surprised how many of you younger guys "don't drink". Just shows how much smarter a bunch of you are, than I used to be !
Anyway, I got some Crystal brand Egg Nog in the fridge right now..... But waiting for those recipes for the home made stuff :-)

PS, Bigpimpin, I checked that recipe you posted, and holy $#!+ ! ....Bourban 'AND' Brandy ? That would have to taste horrible ! Mixing alcohol with Egg Nog, would be like putting battery acid on your apple pie ! I mean, WHY ???
I think if I were into alcohol, I'd just get some 100% pure shit, and mainline it, so I didn't have to taste it.

Man, what a great thread ! I love dogs of all kinds, big ones, small ones, different ones, and you guys have a bunch of really cool ones :-)
This is Tepu Kahn. He's actually my Landlord's, but in the 8 months I've been here, we have become best buddies :-) He's a 2 year old, 1/2 German Sheperd, and 1/2 Gold Lab. I think it's a great mix, as he's really a good people dog, like nearly all Labs, but also an excellent guard dog.... like German Sheperds are.....
Oh BTW, he's 110 lbs, and it's a trip when I'm play fighting with him, and he has his mouth / teeth wrapped all the way around my forearms..... I mean, sometimes you can't help but imagine, that if he wanted to, he could really put a hurting on somebody ! I guess any big dog could though.
Anyway, I think he's just beautiful :-)

Hey fischey, 135 @ 49 ??? That does not sound very impressive at all.
When I think of a box tuned to 49hz, I'm thinking straight up burp-box {loud as hell, but not musical at all}, and as such, it had better do high 140's, if not 150 ! Otherwise, why bother ?
I'm not even shooting for an SPL type of setup, but if I couldn't hit 135 @ 32hz, I'd be downright bummed.....

Hey Boon, and fischey, if you look at this enclosure again, and just think about it for a second time around.... This actually looks almost like a t-line build. I mean the part the subs are situated in is not much bigger than the rest of the port. It might work anyway, but I know if that part was a bit smaller.... and then if the port was long enough, it would be a straight up t-line.... which we know "can work" if calculated properly.
I mean I hear what your saying Boon, about sufficient loading of the sub.... But when you think about a t-line, one might not expect that to provide enough loading either.... But it does.

That's a huge ass port... probably beyond the realistic maximum size you could have for those subs. I don't think it would provide sufficient loading on the back of the cone. -

Not sure what the point is ?
Only 1 hr ??? I typically get $25 or $30 an hour for my time. So judging by the fines of $100 and more, that I typically hear about for sound violations, this seems like a great deal for the offenders.
Anyway, if it were like 8 hours a day, for 5 days..... But even so, I'd rather listen to Barney and Barry Manilow, than dead silence, in a room with blank walls, for 40 hours. Now that would be pretty brutal !

But I wonder if that.... I think its called, a Teeter Hangup would work ? Or should I say, I wonder if "the principal of hanging upside down, to put a stretch on your spine would work" ?
