Need Some Help With Aero Port Design.

I want to understand you correctly, you're spendin 130 on 4 6" areos? -
Personally I like the HK series much better they have a better STN ratio and normally lower THD ratings and the fact you can get it cheaper is just a bonus.

Naw I have never had to send one back under warranty, just the occasional DIY bad install that needs repaired. mostly hooking up in wrong loads, "I thought you just run all the positives and negatives together" meanwhile putting in .25 ohm load on 2 ohm stable amp?

Man I run the X493 and it is absolutly worth and every bit of the extra cost. The features are outstanding for comps, easy sub level control, and the only unit in the price range that I found would do 10hz steps on the freq controls. Plus comes with a 3 channel crossover control and will drop down to 40hz. The 2 stage bass boost was a nice touch from the previous years X492 (That I used to run) Only thing I do not like is the presets are gone, now have a favorite feature that I don't care for, but I don't listen to radio much. Just acquire mp3s from web and use on USB.

Just passin on what I was told

They made some good amps, just a word though I'm a retailer and was told they may be goin away due to the times. May have warranty issues later.

Dude I tried MECA and unless they showed on my door step to do a comp I would never run one of their again. Here's the basic skinny. They sound great take total fuse and multiply by 10 the add to cone surface area right.........Not quite, Say you run a 6000 - 8000 watt system run around 250-300 amp fuse. times 10 2500-3500 right? Well what they'll actually do is in that system run a 50 amp fuse, yes 50 amp. You'll blow it but oh well you'll get at least 3 seconds, that is what the judge told me. I was like WTF that is freakin retarded. Oh and fuses have to be within 18 inches of amps not under hood. Which is fine just preparing you. All measurements are in the passenger seat at head rest, not bad closer to legal. I just was floored by the fuse issue and couldn;t belive what the judge told me.

I would say sealed on those subs if you're wanting a musical vehicle. I don't think the X-Plods will sound well in a ported box. Make sure to fill box, if sealed, with aboust 50% stuffing will make for a cleaner sound.

Dude, don't wire that way veryyyyyyyyyy bad things will happen. All the magic smoke will come out. You're not goin to get 3 of those subs on 2 amps unless 2 on 1 then 1 on 1, Heh Heh 2 on 1.
