My deck never skips. My advice to you. Go to walmart. Pioneer headunit for $100. Aux out put on the front. $10 for monster cable 3.5mm to 3.5mm coard. Then just hook your ipod up. Problem fixed. No more skipping.

Hey guys just curious to see what the noise ordinance is in your area. Here in Tampa Fl it use to be 200ft then it went to 50 then to 25 and now its at 20 FUCKING ft with a $75 ticket. My stock stereo can be heard at 25 with the windows up. WTF. Old people piss me off. What is it in your neighborhood?

I want some high end though. I dont want my subs only hitting half of the time. Should I tune up around 36hz. What is the sound quality like on these things Im just looking for a clean bass not actual SQ woofers. And finaly how long did it take for them to get your 18s to you?

Im not sure on the enclosure yet. Was just going to do upfiring but got the tape out and realized it going to be wall all the way. Its going into my tiny 2001 ford escape lol. (Hey if it can be done in a mini cooper my escape can take it no prob. Im also keeping the back seat. I plan on around 5-6 cubes a sub at around 32-35 hz.

Hey has any one ordered any of the bl series in the last 3 weeks. Im ordering mine this weekend and wanted to know If you have gotten yours yet and also how long did it take to get there. I here there delivery is prompt as long as they have the parts isn stock. Incase anyone wants to know Im ordereing to duel 2 ohm fi bl 18s on two sundown saz-1500ds strapped.

I knew double baffle and a shit load of internal bracing where in order. Ill just double layer everything, 45 all my corners and glass the inside. What is the best way to keep the double baffles together? Just alot of drywall/wood screws?

Thanks for all the input man. Ima get the subs here build the enclosure and eventualy upgrade to the saz-3000d. My last question is for two bl18s and a saz-3000d should I double panel my box or is it not necessary. I will be building a wall in the back of my escape and forward firing the subs.

Fis FTW. Im guessing my saz-1500d should be sufficient power for them. Or should I upgrade to a 3000d or such. Acording to chris at db-r.com he said sundown is supposidly coming out with a 2000d soon. IDK well see.

If there is no issue with the tinsel slap I think Im going to go with the fis. Ill just have to get an rlp for the house when I get situated in alaska. I still want to know how much difference would there be in spl between the two. Are we talkin bl slightly louder or hella louder?

Come on guys I need more oppinions on both setups. I want to good and the bad. $700 is alot to spend on a pair of subs and make the wrong choice.

Im aiming for crazy spl. I realy like the bls but Iv heard bad things about the tinsile leads breaking becouse there not woven. Has any one had a problem with this. I love the way the rl-ps are built but Im not sure if there going to be loud enuff for me. Keep it in mind that I had 4 8" l7s before this build.

Smart ass. Lol. Ok I got that the spl will be greater with the 18s. But who actualy makes a better sub Fi or SS. I hear that Soundsplinter uses the same internal parts as Tc sounds. And seeing the prices of tc sounds subs vs Fi it kind of makes me wonder.

Hey guys Im lookin at getting two big drivers to gainsome spl in my ride. As of right now Iv narrowed it down to either 2 Re audio bl-18s or 2 Soundsplinter rl-p15s. What would you guys say would put out more spl and would be a beter quality speaker. I will be running them off of my saz-1500d.
