Yes playing too high can cause over excursion if your box is on the smaller side and port is on the larger side with low tuning. My 4 15s were PEAK TO PEAK at 50hz with dual stiffs and everything. tuned to 27hz

I had a very thick couple coats of spectrum sludge for reference and my roof still tore apart...if you have to use deadener i would use the peel and stick kind

As stated you must try to push evenly all around the cone at once, this is generally not too hard what you hear is rocking the coil in the gap and rubbing.

Why not put our giant military to work at the home front...Build roads, there was a time in this countries life where the army core of engineers did some amazing shit. Now they subcontract and do nothing but sit on a jobsite with their thumb up their ass looking for said subcontracted company to be missing a handrail or not wire off a safety on a shackle and shut the job down costing them several hundred thousand dollars daily.
