i believe the cut out will change tuning also correct?

i fixed it.
had to find the source with some other program.
delete a .sys file then malware can open.

but to answer you, 2 12"s can do it. but it will take alotta power.
i have 8 12"s and 4800 watts rms
i havnt tried one yet. but its either alot of speakers or alot of power.

22.5 in tall so its 90 inches of port area which per ^3 foot for my sub is 12in-16in so its about right? I think? wth idk I am in no condition to be making these decisions right now
port area people normally refer to doesnt even matter what the length is.
1 4 inch port is 12 sq inches
2 cubes should get around 30 sq inches.
port volume matters with the sq inches x port length

isnt a 4 inch port like only like 12.56 sq inches
so youd would need like 2 or 3 of these ports.
or you can probably get away with 1 6 inch

double check all the power wires?
missing a ground somewhere?
all of a sudden that start happening?
maybe undo all the wires clean up the contact areas and reinstall.

if you port up you can go closer to the backwall.
if you port back you need the clearance between the tailgate and the port
i like the port up idea.
everyone does port back.

lol giant fork-lift batteries where i work are 2500 lbs
