Picking up a clamp meter this week and testing my 270XP to see its true output

i've had trouble getting anywhere close to 270 on mine. good luck to ya! belt slip is fun!

not really having any belt slip. the gates belt does fine on my ranger. if its not doing right though. its out. im going to start personally testing products for the ranger when i get them.

Just remember you gotta be able to load the alternator down enough to make it use full power. so if you have a few batteries you should disconnect them so you wont have reserve capacity, and will make the alt work harder.
