Ok so this is how it is. I loaned my friend a grand to get his first system. I buy the sub, amp, wire and headunit. He so far paid me back just under 800. The last couple times i mentioned it he said he cant pay me back and wont give me the sub with is worth what he owes. Its a fi bl 12" loaded. Its in my box also for the time being. What would you do? Also i dont need smart comments about loaning money or whatever because i like to help a friend out. Anyways i thought about getting his keys and just taking it then just giving it back when he repays me. But hes the type that would screw with my vehicles and call the cops. Any ideas? thanks

Dc level 3 12's. Or Fi Q 12's. Your electrical should be fine up to 2000 but it all depends really on the amp draw.

There was a single red wire that was burnt. I tried resoldering it but it did it again. i should have posted it on here but was pissed and ripped the whole system out and threw it in the dumpster. Just waiting to get better equipment ftw

You could do 18's 3 on top 3 on bottom. Ive seen s10's with 5 18's. If they can do it so can you.

How long will it run? If its like 2 seconds its timing. Also the starter may need a shim. 4.3's are quality motors. just my .02 cents. I seen them get 250,000 without a sweat when maintained right.

Is it completely safe for the amp to run that ohm? Like for hours of on and off listening. Does that void the amps warrenty.

How do i wire it up to present a .5 ohm load?

Hmm i havent really looked into bandpass but does that mean the cone is sealed and the other part of the box is ported and tuned? any pics of it done?

I wanted a 15 or 18 but the damn trunk is tiny and want to keep the back seat. I was thinking of building one inside the trunk but idk yet. any tips for big subs with no room? I really thought hard about cutting metal to slide box in but then seals and stuff are messed up.

Haha All i have to say is budget build. That Saz2000 is only 165 after trade in of old amps. I hope to see like 2600 rms out if it as they said it was clamped at doin. I think doing this build for 1500 maybe 2000 isny bad. Im only a part time worker lol. What should i get then for a sub?

Its a 2000. I hope to have good weather tomarrow to tint and get good photos. The Rear Passinger quarter was hit pretty hard and im going to weld in a new one now its a salvage title. Its a really solid car and hope to kit it and paint it black and bag it in the future. The interior was nasty but after a couple days of hardcore cleaning it looks almost new. Nothings broken. I know this isnt a insane 160+ db car but i hope to have it loud.

Knu Koncepts 1/0 50 ft with 2- 200 anl fuse's for under hood and at amp which doesnt have fuses Sundown SAZ2000D coming in late June/early july Mids n' Highs- Rockford's New 6.5 Components and 6x9s Sundown 100.4 or simular Custom Fiberglass pods for 6.5's Alpine CDA9874 headunit out of truck new last summer Where do i get a good quality, professional looking headunit install bezel? Electrical- Dc Power 250amp alt Big 3 in 1/0 and Powermaster D3100 What do you think? I know i missed a bit.

If it doesnt end up sounding right he could always later on down the road add the speakers. Look on ebay theres components for cheap and 4 channel amps.

I would suggust the Fi Car Audios BL 12's with the Sundown SAZ2000D amp. I would go ported at 33hz. The amp is on sale for 425 in a preorder stage and should be in late june its worth the wait and its 1ohm stable. In the mean time you can buy the knu Koncepts 1/0 wire and im suggusting the powermaster xs batterys. This is all pretty much budget minded. Im getting the saz2000d and the btl 12" or DC lvl 5 12" and they should should good for only one 12" woofer. I wouldnt suggust hifonics either from what i read they dont do near rated rms... Way overrated. Try not to skimp on subs and amps. Get what you want the first time and do your research and you will save money in the end even if it takes you longer to get the equipment. I have been waiting forever with my parttime job also. 25 hrs a week ftw
