  1. guys, i have found its MUCH easier and faster to hit the delete button instead of moving your posts around. This is the off topic area. We have a video section for video's. We have an OFF TOPIC video section for non car audio video's. We have amplifier and subwoofer sections. Why do people continue to put stuff here that has a place somewhere else? I am getting tired of moving them for you, it is just easier to hit the delete button

Is it you I always see pointing this out? Are you butt hurt? (no homo)

"I wish my hair was emo, then it would cut itself" lol

  2. I posted one up on FB the other day about this, but it was how they posted on twitter they were going to protest his funeral, but the posted it from their iPhones lol....durr!!!

People were throwing fits about killing Awlaki, the American gone terrorist who was killed by a drone attack, but I think one more drone attack in the US itself is warranted and we would all 'turn the cheek'. :drinks:

  3. I'm sitting here at state finals. My fuses aren't holding because I was sent the wrong coil configuration. Worlds is a week and a half away. I ordered a d2 xl 15" recone from cj and got sent a d1 xl 15" recone. I didn't HAVE time to dmm THEM because I've been working on my truck. So now I'm f***ed. Please can some dc rep or rusty pm me your phone number, I need this solved beFOR finals.

    typing/grammar/spelling fail ?

edit: Why is it ok for people to reply and bash the OP for what he thought was right when other times, I see threads like this having warnings being sent to stay out of it. This should be between those in DC and the OP (and admin/mods), right?

  4. You know I'm tuned in, but do me a favor and put what ever amps you get on those 2 10s and see what score you pull, then do the rebuild. Interested to see what the 10s will do with more power...unless you got rid of the 10s and I missed that part, which with me is VERY likely! lol

the kicker set up is all sold now. would have been nice to do that but had to sell it to make new purchases. :drink40:

Booo, Hissssss lol. Well get on it!!! and where's pics of these amps? :ehh:

    :drinks:

  5. i really need a new vehicle, Ive searched Craigslist and car soup and a couple other sites, I'm looking for a Tahoe or a Yukon , i only have 2000 to spend atm. Does anyone know any good sites to find some good cars at for not too much? i just want to try and find a better deal than one I'm thinking about getting on Craigslist. I live in south Dakota, 10 minutes away from Minnesota, so any south Dakota / Minnesota mained sites would work. thanks

  6. Keep in mind that the jacket on welding cable is:

    - Not designed to resist petroleum based products such as oil and gasoline

    - Not designed to offer any insulation to the heat generated in the engine compartment (and heating the copper increases its resistance)

You'd be well advised to buy cable suited to automotive use.

Don't know where you got that info because welding cable insulation holds up to heat and chemicals a whole lot better than any car audio brand out there.

but then again for 160 thats 100' of knu. seems like it would almost be better to have a run of + and - each from the front bat to the back in 1/0 plus my big 3

i really dont wana cheap out because i want something thats kinda over kill on ebay knu 1/0 is 90 ish for 50 feet that seems kinda like a steal but also seems rather cheap compared to the cost of the welding wire i listed before. plus the welding wire is ofc. idk knu would by my cheapest and easyest bet but 150 to do big 3 and all my power and grounds plus a lil extra in 2/0

You lost me there. You get what you pay for and Ebay is my last choice to score wire.

And to the op, that is a great place to buy wire from. A whole lot cheaper than car audio specific wire and it performs better

Bobo, This is one guy I wouldn't question when it comes to anything automotive. He has a point, buy things meant for cars, not for a welder. Would you use car audio cable on your welder?
