  1. Let someone take a peak at this before wiring it right. I'm on my first mid shift and have been awake since yesterday morning at 630am and its now 230 am haha. I'm hurting a little and bored as you can see from my drawing. :01nocomment8so:

    Now I didn't list the coils on your subs accordingly. They are just listed to show you more in detail of how it should be. This requires you to pull your subs out and check and/or rewire them. With 2 dvc 1 ohm subs this will give you the correct 'impedance' (to make mr helpful happy) at the amp. The amp you are using doesn't matter how you wire into the amp...as long as its pos to pos and neg to neg from the box to the amp. Hope this helps and makes sense (and is right..i'm fucking tired) If someone agreees with me then check it and fix it or let us now its how you had it.

    i cant possible tell u how much I miss this car

    I can understand. Nice choice in cars to miss bud! I also had a 92 Stang GT that was the tripple black (black top, paint and interior) and I still to this day get shit from the wife about selling that car. She loved it. Hmm...maybe if I get her another one I can get my way more. :01nocomment8so:

    It reminds me of my high school sweet heart...then a few weeks ago she sends me this

    So wrong...oh so wrong. She said she was laying in bed(with her hubby), heard it and thought of me. :01nocomment8so:

  4. Prefer a local sale. These are nothing special, but figured I'd give it a shot to see if they sell. I clean them up a little. $300 OBO? One tire has low tread. The others are still ok. The bolt pattern it was for was a 4x100, 4x114 =D They are a 8 bolt pattern.

    Unsure if this will 'clean' up.

    I'm in the DC area. Will trade for some car audio or other wheels.

    Thanks.

  5. It would be really nice if, just for once, somebody used the proper term... IMPEDANCE!!!

    I'm sure you help him more than anyone. Heck you helped me too. Thx.

    BTW isn't Impedance express in ohms? (serious question)

  6. 1610 is a 1 ohm stable amp and if you wired it like in the link I posted for 1 ohm, it doesn't matter how you plug it into the amp. I would only guess if you aren't running pos to pos an neg to neg at the amp..unsure what it would do if you have something crossed up.

    Only other thing to do is use a dmm and the charts listed here to set your gain at 1 ohm. I believe that amp is 40 for the dmm setting.

    I'll let some of the more experienced guys help on this one. For starters, list you subs, how you have it fused, rca voltage from deck...anything you can think of that would help.

    Someone here will know what it is, I think/hope

  7. For those of you who have them..sell me one if you cant figure out how to set it up.

    =D

    To the one asking about specs

    * 2 x 600-Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms

    * 2 x 1100-Watts RMS @ 2-Ohms

    * 2 x 1600-Watts RMS @ 1-Ohm

    * 1 x 2000-Watts Bridged Mono @ 4-Ohms

    * 1 x 3200-Watts Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms <--I believe this is RMS as well, not peak

    * D-Class Design

    * Front mount controls

    * Balanced Line Inputs

    * 180 degree Phase Shift

    * 10X Frequency Multiplier Switches

    * Subsonic Filters

    * Full System Diagnostics with Pre-Clip / Hard Clip Indicators and a Parametric Bass EQ Circuit

    * Bass Boost

    * Master/Slave Multi-Amp Linking

    * Parametric Bass EQ Circuitry

  8. Holy shit, I hope they ban your ass too. Pretty dickish. Yep you got scammed and the one site that gives you the opportunity to complain on, tries to get you to calm down and asks for you to give the other party a chance, you become a dick to them..admins included.

    I know I wouldn't buy or sell to you for sure now.

    I hope you disappear as well.

  9. master slave is fine but the amps are still strapped , you would not run one per coil at a one ohm load they wont put out the same power, i see what you mean but you stated it wrong

    http://www.kicker.com/sites/default/files/...Version%201.pdf

    page 17 as an example.

    again...if moeny isn't an issue..do a 2 ohm amp that does 5k...like the one I listed.

    Edit: sry forgot to say..I see what you are saying as well...but that was my example, just not meant with the 1 ohm stable..2 ohm d'oh. He was looking for something 2 ohm or half ohm. In order to get the 2 ohm, you'd have to do those two which are one ohm and will do 2 ohm master/slave.

  10. So what you're saying is..I'm not wrong? You can run two amps at 1 ohm stable to each voice coil. As long as you oscope or DMM, you will be fine. By the way. the two amps I listed are master/slave set up.

    And I listed one amp thats 5k at 2 ohm.
