Got some trim to finish and some changes to make.

VVXs will be taken out tomorrow and ZVXs installed, then gotta wait for my 2nd 4500 to come in in April some time.

I might be loud now. :)

(ignore the headliner in the back...it got slightly ripped when cutting out the wall and removing it piece by piece and headliners are about $400 lol)

    On first page too lol...

this thread should be dedicated to 412 CVX. :ehh:

  2. I'll try the Pac-LC1 But, How do I connect it from the head unit to the LC1? I have 2 17 ft HQ Audiotechnix 2 channel RCA's going to each amplifier.

2-3' RCA from the sub out on deck (or rear out if you don't have sub out) and run that to where ever you install the LC-1.

Take your 17' RCA back to your sub amps.

Install RCAs to input of one amp

get another set of 2-3' RCAs and go from output of first 1500 to input of 2nd 1500.

  3. I thought when you strapped something it took whatever you wired to and cut the impedance in half anyway ? so if he wired to what would usually be 4 ohm it would end up being 2 ohm ? but hey multiple ppl said the RCA cable remote would work so who am I to disagree lol I just suggested the splitter cuz I figured the RCA remote would work a little differently than the regular amp remote isn't that remote usually either fine gain control or bass boost control depending on the amp? I would think the RCA one would wind up being almost more like a volume knob so I was just offering an alternative in case he wanted to keep the same functionality as the regular remote but just have it work for both amps

wasn't trying to dispute what anyone was saying or say anyone was wrong just offering an alternative that I thought of.

Actually, subs wired a certain way only impacts impedance, not amps. Amps only do what the subs tell them to.

With the knob, No also. The Pac will be better and easier. Basically, as a wise man once said, 'They tie inline with your RCA's and attenuate the signal instead of adjusting amp settings.' Basically, it only adjust the signal that the rca send vs adjust the 'gain' like normal bass knobs do. If that makes sense???

  4. Yup hate them. Cuz I used them and they did indeed vibrate out Nd arced the terminal

    Luckily didn't damage the sub.

Probably not enough power :( lol

hahaha which is why I said secure them. I solder mine in on my last set up (before the Skar stuff) and they worked great. Just a small amount to ensure they stay. Easy to remove too. I also taped around them.

  5. Fuck banana plugs

    lol..thanks for the insight bud.

If you use banana plugs, monoprice.com has some that fight 10 ga easily

These do but they tend to move

    http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10401&cs_id=1040115&p_id=2943&seq=1&format=2

These also fit and I like them:

But as Big-A said, I would do bolts. Run each sub pos to a bolt and each sub neg to a bolt, then use the the bolts to wire for impedance. Much easier, just keep track of which bolt is which lol

Nothing wrong with banana clips if you ensure they will stay in and not vibrate out or move around and hit each other, etc.

    Brush em off...

like i said, easier said then done when you have 12 subscribers who are friends and family, and under 1000 views. Step up to the big boy leagues (on YT) and see if you brush them off. I can say some shit (out the box) to anyone on this forum and have you ready to kill me if i wanted to. Anyone could. You could say 2 words to the thickest skin mother F'er in here and get him to react. It aint that hard. Sometimes, even when I am NICE to people and they flip out on me, so i know how sensitive people can be.

How dare you insult my intelligence sir. :P

You killed that one quick tho! But you nailed it tho and this is why I would have disabled comments a long time ago. I don't have the time or thick skin to deal with it, so I avoid it lol. Even then, with as much internet fame you have in the business, it's hard to be thick skinned every where. I see no problems with how you do your thing. I just think you should put x sub and amp in your Y car and put 52" rims on it with all white paint...tires and all. :D
