  1. Yep a lot of bracing and goin thru the wall helps stabalize the port wall use 1/2 in allthread and I have tried dowel rods 2x4s and mdf and allthread works best 4 me and uses hardly any airspace so does not change your tuning.
  2. Looks good I would use some allthread from top 2 bottom and side 2 side thru the port with nuts and washers on inside and out side of the port and walls of the box and you'll be straight.
  3. Like I said if you want you can clip the leads and solder some wire 2 it 2 get it working if you done have the money 2 recone if you need advice how 2 do it pm me and I will walk u thru it.
  4. Yep recone and the spider was worn due 2 possibly playing below tuning or old age youcan try fixing it but I would break down and get a recone 4 it.
  5. Must be nice 2 get the good stuff man I wish I could get some cool cones and hi roll surrounds 2.
  6. My 2 cent do I think stetsom amps are junk no do they blow easy well let's put it this way everybody I have personally known running them have blown there's at 1 time or another but they do come with a good warranty so it equals out and third do they do rated power hmmmmm maybe some do however I am oldschool and believe a 14k amp with 1 hot and ground on it is impossible just my opinion however I would like thors feedback if he has ever clamped 14k out of his I would guess around 7 to 9k tops and I am not bashing stetsom like I said they do have a good warranty however I am still not sold on em.
  7. Ok that explains it keyword sampson I see said the blind man plus I got a look at his box and damn that is 1 solid baffle lol makes mine look weak.
  8. Hmm ok well if it is the same amount of power then that leaves 2 options left the 10s still need some tweaking or cough box design cough lol.
  9. Quick question how much power are you guys feeding the subs I burped my level 5 18 with 14k of dirty power and it still held together fine the coil finally gave out after 11 burps back 2 back but it stayed together just fine just curious if it is just the 10s with that problem or y'all are throwing a hell of a lot more power than I am.
  10. Just so y'all know the audiopipe 3k is rated 3k at 2 ohms not 1 so roughly 1500 watts each.
  11. Thank you thank you rusty I just got the tracking # I am so psyched right now now all I will need to do is give her some counseling after all the molesting lmao.
  12. Hey. Rusty scratch that go ahead and send out mine from the sounds of it mine is being molested 2 death lol.
  13. You can pick it up at home depot it is 5 bucks a tube and they have. Automotive, plumbing, and general use goop.
  14. And just an fyi with ac voltage 99.9% of the time the problem is where the sparks and heat are coming from not down the line now dc voltage is different.
  15. X2 that. Is what I was thinking you have to torque them down or they will build up. A lot of heat I always go over them with goop after all connections are good and tight to keep them from backing off.
  16. I use this stuff called goop from home depot works great and I never had a dustcap pop off again after using it.
  17. My 2 cents every multiple sub setup I had worked well in a common chamber with the port in the middle every time I ran the port on 1 side I always had 1 sub moving differently now 1 sub setups that's out the window however whatever you decide good luck and keep on truckin I love seeing your vids.
  18. What really now so if you push it as forward as u can and seal it it looses I know the note will change but at the new peak note i assumed it would be louder oh man good luck then finding room for 2.
  19. Oh I thought the amp was behind the box the only way I can fit multiple amps is to stack as described however the 1 good thing about the caddy is it has a large trunk.
