  1. You could try using 4in long bolts and nuts and washers space and stack the amps on each other then mount the bottom amp down to a wood base all you have to do is drill out the base where the bolts are sothe bottom amp will sit flush.
  2. No prob I will tune it lower and get #s with high tuning 35 to 40 and low tuning 25 to 30 and we will get a good camera also some bass race stuff.
  3. Lol not me just trying to keep this forum from being like another flamefest forum I know of.
  4. What is all the negativity about this sub coming out is a positive thing anyways when I get mine I will show what it can do in the caddy on 2 hifonics sampsons and if I ain't happy with that I will use 4 of them but to everybody griping and I mean every body what would you like to know about the sub we will have #s soon do you want to see it moving more if so we will try a different box but honestly knowing that it can take an atomic 7000 for 30 minutes to an hour at a time is pretty impressive to me but post up what you would like to see and I. Will work this weekend to try to make it happen. Also not trying to be sarcastic all I care about is #s so let me know what kind of testing you would like to see.
  5. The sub is not broke in yet and the box was designed for cone control and #s there is a show coming up put it on the termlab and then we will know the difference or better yet get the old box and let it loose either way I got to hear it some more today and o have to say it is louder than the caddy.
  6. Unfortunately guys that box was designed for high power handling so the woofer is not going to unload and flop around however grady just for vids you can turn the subsonic down then take a vid it should move a good bit more 4 you lol.
  7. As long as you stay to a 8 to 1 ratio on the port it does not matter but anyway you decide to go good luck with the build and let us know how it turns out.
  8. Also if it makes you feel better I have designed and built a dozen boxes for tahoes since steve started his and everyone of them has turned out great.
  9. I would do 6 tall on the port but 5 would work.
  10. Also a little trick I learned if you use my port take a measuring tape and space the box exactly 6 inches away from the hatch closed and tune the box a couple of hertz higher than you want to example for 32 tune to 35 because when it is installed like that it will drop the tuning of the box and be. Hell a loud.
  11. The only thing that is the same is the basket also you can actually get these lol
  12. Yes you have to make the port longer and yes there is an advantage to doing the port that way it will be louder also use a slot port calculator for the length of the port.
  13. I would do the port 6 high 36.5 wide {the internal width of the box}
  14. Lol but on a positive note she does sound really good atleast in my opinion.
  15. Cool I hear yeah but me personally I been bassin now for 17 years and when I get mine I can actually say it will be the nicest sub I have actually owned so iam psyched.
  16. No I know you didn't I was just kidding but actually in 93 I really did that to my 1st box lol but hey I was only 16 and had just started my car audio journey.
  17. No sir chopped and screwed clipped with the atomic 7000 and no bottoming out.
  18. Yeah all I do is go to the swap meet and get 1 of those fancy sealed boxes and drill out some air holes pretty easy.
  19. They are wider 11 compared 9 3/4 on the level 5 also 10 spiders and yes much taller top plate.
  20. I believe that will be an option in fact gradys is the musical version however mine won't be lol.
  21. I wonder what kind of damage 1 of those would do in the caddy off of 20,000 watts hhhmmmmmmmmm.
