Haha dude that is your problem right there you only use the -output if you are strapping the amps your amps are drawing so much juice because you are running them full tilt but getting little sound output because of the cancellation trust me on this one I am using a maxxlink myself.

which channels on the maxx-link did you try should have been a &b positive and c &d positive if they were not strapped.

yeah i ran 4000 to my 4xl18 4 about a month it just depends on the box and sub sonic settings.

a couple of things make sure your alts are linked and are you trying to strap the amps and double check all your connections.

yeah something does not sound right i do not even have that kind of electrical and i can burp with more power than that.

i concur it would even work daily as long as you did not have it full tilt all the time.

With the alternator and a couple of batteries you would be fine running the 2000s at 2 ohm strapped or 1.4 strapped but yes you would void your warranty at 1.4 strapped or .7 ohm each but I have seen a 1500 at .5 ohm daily with stock alternator and 1 extra battery do just fine.you could try 2 3500s but you would need a lot of electrical upgrades to feed them daily.

Yes the 2 2000s will hang with or even surpass the rf4000 I would get the dual 1.4 coils and strap the sundowns at 1.4 daily and you should be good to go.

it is a vertical slot port on the front of the box i had already rounded the port edges before i tried the pvc end.

Just an fyi for everybody I tried the pvc at the ends of the ports and lost .5 db also tried a 45 at backside of the port and lost an additional .1 which goes to show you every install will have different results.

it is tuned to 40 hertz and i burp at 54 hertz it does play music also i have never bass raced it though.

try this pull the reardeck cover off then try taking a sawzall to the rear deck and cut 2 slits along the edges then take a pair of channel locks bend the rear deck up and see if you can fit the box in from the inside of the car of course measure the heighth of the box 1st to make sure it is not taller than the trunk itself i have done this several times and it is easier than building the box in the trunk if it will fit slide it in bend the the reardeck back down put the cover backdown and wala

nice score have you ever tried sub forward port up 4 a burp.

if you do it for burps only you should be ok but daily it would kill the amp just think of it like running a 300 shot of nitrous for a short burst it is ok but continuosly it would blow the motor.

could be a # of things low voltage ;amp clipping;sub-sonic setting it should be able to handle that amp just fine.

i know for a fact a level 5 can take 3000 daily however like any other speaker it depends on the box for example putting a 12 in a 7 cube box tuned to 40 playing a song with 28 hertz notes with out the subsonic could kill it with 1000 watts but same sub in 3 cubic ft. tuned to 32 with the subsonic set to 30 could take 3000 daily no problem.

Did a 154.2 with 1 level 5 18 and 1 powerbass 5000d for the all time record. At texas bass productions in the trunk class.

With what you said you have you should be fine just make sure if you tune the box to let's say 32 you have the subsonics set to 32 and you will be fine.
