Yep a lot of bracing and goin thru the wall helps stabalize the port wall use 1/2 in allthread and I have tried dowel rods 2x4s and mdf and allthread works best 4 me and uses hardly any airspace so does not change your tuning.
Looks good I would use some allthread from top 2 bottom and side 2 side thru the port with nuts and washers on inside and out side of the port and walls of the box and you'll be straight.
Like I said if you want you can clip the leads and solder some wire 2 it 2 get it working if you done have the money 2 recone if you need advice how 2 do it pm me and I will walk u thru it.
My 2 cent do I think stetsom amps are junk no do they blow easy well let's put it this way everybody I have personally known running them have blown there's at 1 time or another but they do come with a good warranty so it equals out and third do they do rated power hmmmmm maybe some do however I am oldschool and believe a 14k amp with 1 hot and ground on it is impossible just my opinion however I would like thors feedback if he has ever clamped 14k out of his I would guess around 7 to 9k tops and I am not bashing stetsom like I said they do have a good warranty however I am still not sold on em.
Quick question how much power are you guys feeding the subs I burped my level 5 18 with 14k of dirty power and it still held together fine the coil finally gave out after 11 burps back 2 back but it stayed together just fine just curious if it is just the 10s with that problem or y'all are throwing a hell of a lot more power than I am.
Thank you thank you rusty I just got the tracking # I am so psyched right now now all I will need to do is give her some counseling after all the molesting lmao.
And just an fyi with ac voltage 99.9% of the time the problem is where the sparks and heat are coming from not down the line now dc voltage is different.
X2 that. Is what I was thinking you have to torque them down or they will build up. A lot of heat I always go over them with goop after all connections are good and tight to keep them from backing off.
My 2 cents every multiple sub setup I had worked well in a common chamber with the port in the middle every time I ran the port on 1 side I always had 1 sub moving differently now 1 sub setups that's out the window however whatever you decide good luck and keep on truckin I love seeing your vids.
What really now so if you push it as forward as u can and seal it it looses I know the note will change but at the new peak note i assumed it would be louder oh man good luck then finding room for 2.
Oh I thought the amp was behind the box the only way I can fit multiple amps is to stack as described however the 1 good thing about the caddy is it has a large trunk.
