  4. 60 minute Epoxy on spider landing and Amazing All Purpose Goop on the surround and Dustcap is what I have always used. Done me good so far. Hopefully the JB Weld works out good for you.
  5. Do you have multiple layers or just one? iirc he only has one layer. One layer is all most people need but it never hurts to double up.
  6. Just laying out some facts between the two: Second Skin Damp 6.5 mil Aluminum 40 mil thick total $2.69-$4.50 a sq ft Second Skin Damp Pro 6.5 mil Aluminum Eight mil thick total $3.97-$6.94 a sq ft Audio Technix 60 mil 4 mil Aluminum 60 mil thick total $2.35 a sq ft Audio Technix Eighty mil 7 mil Aluminum Eighty mil thick total $3.50 a sq ft Audio Technix 60 mil is currently at $2.12 a sq ft till May 15th then the sale price goes away. Audio Technix 80 mil will not be in stock for 3 weeks. Both SS and AT use a butyl adhesive with no asphalt fillers. The butyl compound SS uses is different than the butyl compound AT uses. Second skin price varies depending on how many sq ft you buy.
  7. Great review! You must have got the roll that I mark as 6 pounds on the shipping label by accident. A 25 sq ft roll weighs 12-14 pounds.
  8. I have 2 6" aeroports right now for a 3.25 cubed box after all displacement. Sub up port to the side in my trunk. Single 15 on a AP 1500 and stock head unit (less than 1 volt going through my rca's) doing a 145+ on the TL. Port area is key to good numbers.
  9. Need more port for sure. Coming from someone who has done a 150 + out of a trunk do 16-18 sq inches of port per cube if using aeroports and if doing a slot port do 18-20 sq inches per cube.
  10. Just because they are LVL 4 coils does not mean they automatically get the RMS rating of a LVL 4. It just means they can take a little more power than a regular LVL 3 coil.
