  1. it kind of is broke in a sense that it is almost/if not 5 years old.he is running out of spaces to drill screws in for his sub no meat left on the lip. he doesn't compete anymore so no need for the removable port it does pound but it will sound different with the SMD subs in it I doubt that he would not recone them with 1,000+ more watts going to them when they are rated 4,000 less he needs to have the subs spread out for proper airspace instead of them being fed off each other. did I teach you anything? lol
  2. thats funny that you guys think that chicken just doesn't want it back or that Steve wouldn't keep it himself if chicken was "giving it away" since he did create the damn thing. back on topic though how are things coming in that brain of yours Steve you got some stuff planned out?
  3. and the wiring looks like this correct?
  4. what ohm are the subs? maybe it is the wiring and you have an insane low ohm load
  5. pictures would help. I'm thinking maybe something to do with the wiring since you aren't overpowering them and you have enough electrical. what kind of box do you have?
  6. price change in first post. ttt
  7. lol I don't think nyman or logan runs one of those and it still slams
  8. thats what is weird to me is that an iTunes high quality digital version could not slam but one from a CD which is the same source as iTunes does. but I doubt I am going to be able to touch your iPod since you will be doing non stop demos all night
  9. you can go 22" high and be at the headrest IIRC. but you would have some room between the hatch and front of the box.
  10. I have 2 different versions of this song and both do not have barely any bass. I have everything full tilt on both versions and it just makes my sub hum. 1 was from iTunes and the other was from green cable. where did you guys get your version from and could you if possible screenshot an analyzation of audacity so I can compare my version. I really want to slam this song because I know it has good lows.
  11. the way I am wording it is making it sound like 4 18's on 3,000 watts wouldn't be louder than 2 18's on 3,000 watts but I have always learned that small boxes = lots of power and big boxes = little power
  12. too little room for 4 18's on that little power. you would be more efficient with the same power on 2 18's in maybe a 12 cube box. but then again you can never beat cone area
  13. I don't know why you would move the second row up unless you are going to carry around people with paper thin legs. theres not much room to do something like that. I haven't seen the total plus about squeezing 4 18's into a Tahoe besides the "oh ah" factor because you have either have sacrifice some window real estate or risk not building your box big enough to suite 4 and end up not being able to play them as long without putting an ass load of power on them as you could if you gave 2 18's the proper room and proper power with room to upgrade and still be just as loud if you find some really efficient subs. I think suburban's have around 22" more than a tahoe. my mom has a 2001 suburban and I always compare mine to hers and I could fit a shit ton more beat in hers than I could in mine obviously. and you could even have some decent beat and hide all the amps and batteries with the 3rd row still in.
  14. whats the name of the song in that video I might want to use it for one of mine I can't wait to watch this
  15. its funny when people think applying a filter to a picture is photoshopping because the picture looks different. photography class has definitely taught me that there is more too it. no one can beat your photoshops on this site <<< I still love mine
  16. any offers? I want this gone and money talks
  17. price back to normal. if you are local give me an offer I can meet half way if reasonable as well. I'm in Roseville which is just north of Sacramento. lets get this gone the hoe needs some new beat
  18. thanks navi I was working on fixing my over head air conditioning so 99vic's mexican ass don't steal that again at lowes. it did have stretch to it but not a good type of stretch. on the top part of the panel we just tucked in the excess and that held it in place so it wasn't glued so if you pulled it would stretch a little and then recoil back to its normal position or pull from somewhere else on the door handle insert it was better because we glued and I could stretch around that piece to make it tight. fabric was bought from JoAnn's
  19. its elmers glue nah just playin! looking good Steve I'm pickin up a few hints here and there for my doors. still don't know where you got that vinyl from
  20. wrapping is easy because you have somewhere to hide the edge of the material. with the bottom section of that door panel where there is carpet there is no where to tuck in or wrap behind so its critical to have a very sharp knife fury folding knife plus extra blades FTMFW! but anyone in the Nor*Cal area need anything like this done just buy the materials (suede, and I prefer 3M spray adhesive the strong stuff) and I'll work on your doors for you.
  21. So after doing my doors in black suede Justin calls me up and wants his done. Why not he's got a Yukon so its the same door panel it will be easy. Busted it out Friday and this is what it looks like... along with picures of his Yukon EDIT: those wrinkles didn't stay there we just put the window switch back in and hadn't smoothed it out yet maybe some foreshadowing
