  1. Nice, I remember the one I had when I was in middle school. Cool lil snake. What species?
  2. Well, my Argentine black and white tegu is finally here, his name is Apophis. I put a deposit to reserve a hatchling for me back in February. They hatched June 25, And I finally got him this last Monday. I'm up to 4 lizards in my room now lol. He is maybe 8" or 9" and will be a month old tomorrow. And the rest. Enceladus These are old pics, he is now about 8" and has a very fat tail. Callisto These pics are old too, he is now right around 20". Though he hasn't been eating lately, so he hasn't grown, gotta get him into a vet. Ganymede More old pics, she is right around 14" now and gaining weight like crazy. And Ganymede and Callisto together when they were babies. So, does anyone else on here keep lizards?
  3. I'll try that out tomorrow. Thanks
  4. Well, I think I got the output back that i had before taking out the Maxxlink. Not I just gotta get rid of the ringing when the Maxxlink isn't in. The ground loop isolator didn't do anything when I tried it, maybe I gotta go get a new one or something.
  5. Here's the new problem. The ringing is gone, but there is no output. I believe that two of the subs aren't working, the two on the drivers side. I have it wired with the Maxxlink in exactly as it was wired and setup yesterday before I took the Maxxlink out. I wish I would have at least taken a couple vids before I tried all of this lol.
  6. I put it back in. The ringing is gone but I have no output now. I have no idea what is going on lol.
  7. Well I tried adding a ground loop isolator, but the ringing was still there, even when I completely unplug the rcas at the hu. The subs on the passenger side are the ones ringing it seems. And there's a lil bit of a turn off pop.
  8. O I see. I'm kinda looking for a 15" for my gf, although its kinda pointless since I done have money right now lol.
  9. What's gonna be for sale? And me too lol...But it's no problem, if you don't know, then you don't know. Got a lil more info. I found out that the splitters probably aren't the problem since I unhooked them and plugged the rca from the hu into one pair of amps and it still does it. But it only does it with the engine running, not with just the ignition.
  10. Lol that sucks man.
  11. Yep, opposite side of the car. Hopefully this doesn't take too long for me to figure out and fix.
  12. I just got my system up and running a lil while ago, now I have a problem. I had a Maxxlink in, but the subs were barely moving, though quite loud. I had the input level set correctly, and wired up just as the manual diagrammed. So I decided to take it out and see how it would be with just 2 sets of strapped amps (4 SAZ-3000d's). I only have one set of rcas going back from the hu, so I got some rca splitters so I could get rcas to the other master amp. Now, I'm getting a ringing out of the subs, sounds almost like a 1000hz tone or something. The pitch also increases as I get on the throttle. I also have quite a bit less output than when the Maxxlink was in. So I've been doing a lil reading, and read somewhere here on the forums that splitters half the signal, and limit the tuning capabilities of the hu. Not something that I'm stating as fact, just something that I read. So I just pulled the hu (Alpine iDa-X100) to see how many sub outs I have, and there is only one set. So my question is, how should I go about my rca wiring in this situation? Btw, sorry for the long ass post lol.
  13. I saw that too. I would say add a layer, but it's already painted. You could always run another 2x4 across the bottom of the middle of it to add a lil rigidity.
  14. No problem. And we wanna see pics when they're there and in.
  15. Since the port is already built, you could drill a couple holes in each wall and do a couple all thread bars. And for the cross bracing: you could cut the 2x4s to fit across, then cut them in half, well a lil longer so that they will sit flush with the 2x4 that is already in. Then you could glue/screw each one on the opposite side of the 2x4 that is already in there.
  16. Looks good. Only thing I would recommend is bracing the port, and maybe a lil more cross bracing.
  17. They're Dekas with different stickers. I have 9 Deka 9a31's and they're great batts.
  18. Correct. Port tuning depends on the port area and length relative to the volume of the box.
  19. Just figure the volume you need for the subs and the tuning that you want. Then design and build. It's not about the number of ports, but the total port area. As a general rule of thumb, you want between 12"-16"^2 of port area per cubic foot of box volume. Instead of using pvc, why not just do one slot or square port? It would be a lil easier imo.
  20. Great install and I love the mids. How do they sound, I may want some lol.
  21. I know how you feel about the same brand thing. That's why I took it out after a week haha. GL finding what you need.
  22. The silver I have is one complete run and has a ring terminal on one end. I ran it in my car, then took it back out the next week haha.
  23. I have 40' of silver Monster 400 Series. I also have 20' in blue, but I see that's not on your list of colors.
  24. Sounds interesting. If you try it start a build log and let us know how it does.
