I currently have two RF T1 15's in a blowthrough in my Chevy Colorado crewcab...I'm running a RF 1500bd for the two, but I'm about to buy a second 1500bd next week.
Question is:
I'm debating on switching to some new subs. Any suggestions?? I can run right at 1500/voice coil on a single sub or 1500 per sub. So, let's hear your suggestion!!
Thanks.

As I said in my last topic, I got a new 2009 Chevy Colorado. Well, I got my old 20's bored to fit the Colly. They have a huge offset. Ha ha. So I got fender flares coming to cover that up a little. They look mean. Anyway, I'm about to order a ReadyLift leveling kit to raise the front a little. The kit says I can put up 32" tires. I have American Racing Dominators (AR 1087). They are 20x10". I need help figuring out what size a 32" would be for those. I don't know much about tires, so any help would be great. Thanks. I'm thinking of BFG's or Nitto Terra Grapplers. A nice all-terrain, but with a little grip.

One of my soldiers here in Iraq has one of the 2007's, I'll ask him what's up with his when he gets back off mission.
thanks boss! I appreciate it.

You will prob rub slightly with 31's when you turn the wheel all the way but it will look good and fill the fenders. A suspension lift is the way to go, body lifts are cheaper but don't look right and give you no more ground clearance so it is all show with no benefit offroad. A 3 inch lift should accommodate a 35" tire with slight rubbing when you turn and a 33" tire would clear with no problems. As for the wheels, i have no idea on the new colorado's. I would venture to say that you might have to get one with a center cap and drill out the middle to clear the hub if that is what they are saying hits the wheel and doesn't let if sit flush. This must be in the 4x4 models only.
thanks sully, i was thinking of getting torsion keys, if they make them for the 2009's and the rear leaf shackle lift. Some other guy did it on a 2007 or something and he fit 33's. Heard anything on that??
-
and they were also telling me, that most wheels won't fit the Colorado. Like I had the 20's from my Tahoe left over and they say they won't fit??? Something about the hub protruding out that makes it not sit flush on the hub??

its a 2009 Chevy Colorado Crewcab 4x4. I'm looking to see how big of tires I can put underneath the truck at stock height. Are there any Colorado guys/girls out there that know about the 2009 suspension? My local wheel/tire place said you can't crank the torsion bars on the new Rado's. Is that right? And do you guys think I should do a body lift? I'd like to eventually put 33's underneath it. I'm probably gonna go with a 17" rim.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

My new 8000k H.I.D.'s
My wife's Tahoe on the left and mine on the right!!!

I'll have pics of the installed products very, very soon.

This was the print I had on the Tahoe, but I took it off!! Back to black, baby!!

no more murdered out
ha ha. yeah, i steered away from all murdered out for a bit, but i'm back except for the wheels. I'll put a pic up soon of what I did. it was a vinyl wrap that was green and black. It had brass knuckles and stars, to resemble a Louis Vuitton print. But I'm all black again.
And I ain't doing the safari rack now. Gonna go more for a VIP-styled ride. I'll unveil it in a few days. I'm waiting on a couple parts, i.e. new sport mirrors, pc steps bars and new z71 air dam.

Anybody got any suggestions of a really good brand? I've already been looking at the Defender and Surco racks. Any others, I should check out?
I'm going for the urban safari theme, and I'm really close to being finished.

use a relay bro from the headlight wire......its easy.
oh no, any minute the fuc#king HID police, aka Stephen is gonna give you his 2 cents - i can feel it coming.
Hey boss, where did you get the valance on the front of your Tahoe? I don't wanna copy but I'm curious where?? I like the round foglights instead of the stocks.
-
Thanks guys. Always appreciated. I'm gonna order the H.I.D.s for the foglights probably early next week. Will they work with the factory foglights I have on my LS or do I need to upgrade? What kind of bulb should I be getting??
And Steve, when am I coming out to do some tattoo work and get those 24's from ya???
-
I've got the 8000k headlights coming. So, I'm thinking about getting some for the foglights. And then my next question is, how do I wire up the foglights to stay on with the headlights??

p.s. I've been doing some changes to the Tahoe. As soon as the exterior is done, I'll reveal it.
Sub Change. Need suggestions...

what's the biggest difference? Just curious. I'm new to DC. I just wanna try something different. I've had lots of brands, but I've heard awesome things about the DC's, RE Audio, and FI's.
