  1. I'll sell you my MTX 7801. Bench tested 1605 watts @ 1 ohm for $265 shipped.
  2. Ive had these tweeters for about 6 months. They are excellent excellent sounding tweeters. Very clear and very strong highs. They will blast with an amp or just off a headunit. These Tweets are actually a 2-ohm impedance which results in more power and easier wiring configurations. I bought them from Crutchfield. Here are the specs and some of the pictures from there.. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Ite...p=107&avf=N I'm asking $90 shipped for them. PM me and let me know.
  3. I have had this amplifier for the past 3 years. It has actually just been worked on and is completely refurbished and under warranty. I have the birth sheet that states it is 1605 watts @ 1 ohm. It is a very powerful and efficient amp. I would rather not sell, but im in need of money more than car audio equipment. Please dont hesitate to ask any questions.... Asking $265 shipped.

  12. shit... i got my '96 civic coupe for $4500.. with only 100,000 miles. you can find a better deal for sure.
  13. that is a sick sub, but to be honest with you i would turn your gains down a little. 1500 watts is a little overboard. maybe give it 1200-1300 rms max.
  14. sounds awesome. i figured that your ports would do well because JL's recommended ports for a single 12 w3v3 are 1.375" x 12.5" x 26.125".... your measurements sound good to me.
  15. hey j black... did you use winisd to figure out the slot ports for it? i just saw the build you did for your brother's 4 RF T1's. and i think im going to go with what you said b/c you seem to know your stuff. as long as you are sure bout all that then im going to go for it.
  16. well.. can you help me with ports then chevy? i need this thing to be completed by tomorrow and any help would be greatly appreciated. have you ever heard of any good things from the RE Calculator? I really would like to do the ports like j black came out with 1 on each side of the box and subs in the middle. that would be cool
  17. i dont know if that is correct because look at JL's recommended box for the Ported Enclosure. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_en...hp?series_id=25
  18. thanks alot j black. i want this box to sound awesome....and that would be a definite 36 hertz? just wondering.... how long have you used box calculators and found out how to do that? I have tried for a long time (about a year) and i cant figure how to work those damn things out at all.
  19. ok.. i will not be using an aero port. I will be making a slot port. port on far left side of enclosure facing back. I just need to know how wide and deep it needs to be b/c i know the height will need to be 13.5"
  20. man... ive been there multiple times.. believe me. that page has been up on my computer at least 20 times. and that long ass formula is just confusing as hell. ive tried it like 3 times the same way and came up with 3 different numbers. i need some REAL help. like someone who knows how to use winisd and just help me out.
  21. I am going to begin to build a box for my (3) jl audio 12"W3v3-4 subwoofers tomorrow. I am planning on making it 15" tall x 39" wide x 21" deep. This being said, that will give me roughly 5.71 cubic feet internal volume using 3/4" MDF all-around. I would love to tune the box anywhere from 36-38 hz. My box right now is tuned to 40 and it hits nearly every frequency for all songs. I really need some help with how big the port should be If anyone could please give me some help i would really appreciate it. i will be starting it at 8:00 in the a.m. eastern time and will get a bunch of pictures if someone helps me out. thanks in advance fellas.
