As everyone else said or if using SATA there is no need to set as slave as this is done automatically. If everything works then create an image of the disk and install this image onto the new HD. Hope this helps somewhat.

Ok I had a little search and came across this > "It happens if the DCOM Server Process Launcher service is not running or disabled. Resolution:- Start>Run>Services.msc>ok Scroll down to DCOM Server Process Launcher.Double click on it and set Startup type to Automatic.Restart your computer." Let me know if it works
