ok i used a port calculator. the box is 12 cubes tuned to 35hz it has a rear port that is 12h X 12L X 16.5D does this sound right????

im in progress of designing a box for 2 18's. i figure around 12 cubes would be plenty. but i would like a tuning of around 35. i plan on a square port in the rear of the box. but about how much port area do i actually need?

does any part of your back seat fold down???

if they can bend pipe and you have the room they can do what ever you want.

if you mean he exhaust that used to be on his hoe then those arnt bent down. they are just slant tips. gibson is good also flowmaster. any big name company will get you the sound your looking for.

ok are the subs using both terminals on the amp or just plugged into one?

so the subs have no wires connecting them at all???

edit yea they look wired wrong. you prolly have some crazy ohm load

yea just ground the wire(normally yellow) that your supposed to connect to your break.

i have 2 optimas under the hood so these are strictly for extra

are you able to set up the 3000 in a master/slave configuration?

so if i did a box that was 48wx20hx30l which would come down to about 12cubes or so after bracing what kinda room do you think would be left?

cool. exactly what i wanted. i like watching the subs jump out the box. where do you have your amps mounted? i plan to do it under the second row seat.

cool. i think ima go with 2 18s instead of 4. 2 lvl5's on 6000+ rms wont be no joke. and ill save money vs the planned 4. but with that being said how large of a box should i plan on? im gonna try to get around 12 tuned to 35hz. whats the best set up for a tahoe? subs up port back? or everything back?
