Im fairly certain that all 2x4s get warped from being in the racks at the lumber yard.
Very true its happened to me, but if you have access to a plainer and jointer you can file them down and get them perfectly squared. I did this some time ago and it was perfect. Took a long time but there was no gaps.

Have you tried looking around/asking On Trailvoy.com?
I read on some threads on trailvoy that there good trannys just thought id ask here to try and get some info.

My truck has less than 5k miles but it does have some mods to it. would you know if theyre the best tranny for the tbss?
And it already died? Is there any reasoning behind getting what appears to be a performance tranny as apposed to hopefully having a warranty on a brand new vehicle an getting it replaced with a new stock one?
My mods will just blow through a stock tranny. I know a tbss users that has blown there tranny about 5 times until he tried that level 7 rpm and he's had that one for about 2 years and no issues.

Thats the one I am using.. helpfull i suppose since im still running strong.. and i also have the vette servos which is a cheap and very worthwild mod..

Also check with PTC to see what they can do. They built the transmission and torque converter in my big block silverado. Awesome guys that have been in the business for many years.

Hey fellas my tranny went out on my tbss last week while I was on the freeway and have been looking round and asking about good trannys for them. I've narrowed it down this this bad boy made by rpm transmissions.

Anybody have any input before I dig myself into a deep a$$ hole? Any info would def help fellas
