  1. I even think the sp4 is going to be iffy with a 4 inch coil. Might not push it over its rated power. Would be much easier with a 3 inch coil. People had issues with 10 inch subs with 3 inch coils and I think this will be the same

I trust that Scott wouldn't put out something that wouldn't work mechanically. He's always said that he wouldn't produce it, if it didn't work.

But back to the OPs post. 12 inch subs with a 4 inch coil are a real PITA

  2. Have fun with a Level 6 12, as far as I know it's only been done once and the results were less than stellar.

It's been done before and like 88 said, the results weren't what you'd expect. If you want a sweet 12 that will work mechanically try using a sp4 12. I have a feeling you might be in for a headache of you make those 12 inch level 6s

    Level 6 is a turd anyway,...imho.

cut its legs out from it, meh.

So you want the level 6 motor (that isnt all that) on a smaller basket, smaller coil, smaller spider?

    sounds like a win.

Lmfao I was trying to be nice..... but.... Fawk me Hahahaha

I was trying to tone it down brotha ????

  3. Since they are on the signal input (rca) and not the speakers themselves which get disconnected during tuning you should remove them. This way a full pass signal is allowed through.

The directions say to have eq's set to flat and crossovers set open or full pass.

Don't mean to thread jack, but just wanted to say thanks bro. I've noticed that a lot of the questions being asked, you've been quick to respond. Thanks for being so helpful people like you are the reason I've stuck around on this forum.

  4. I like it, but aren't you scared someone will steal those nice batteries? I know you said you're going to make a cover. I guess people are more trustworthy up north. Down south you can't have anything nice because some hater will always want to take your stuff. I always learn new stuff from this fourm. Keep up the good work man, as long as you have projects i won't stop learning hahaha
