  1. string and a a rubber ding ding lol. tie string to the ding ding(lol ok dildo) and then to something under his car and toss it under so he dont see it. when he drives away he will be chased by somethig funny for all to see  i did that to my cuz. he drove all the way to the mall of america(5-10 min ride),drove around the parking ramp and parked before he found out lol it was priceless. tomorrow would be a perfect day too :D

  2. That's what I did and it let way more air through the package tray.

thats another thing i was thinkin about to. im sure when i get my DC sub ill have evn more than with my 7500.but i will still want some rear stage too. how bout sealin the sub to the rear seat(ports through the rear seat arm rest) and then use the x9 baffles. im sure i couls make some pods for a set of components when the time comes to. its anoing as hell and im really wantin to turn up the lil bang i have up. thanks for the input everybody.

  3. well not sure what your area is like but maybe go to a local community college that has an auto program and talk to an instructor. depending on the school and that they might be able to fix it up and for alot cheaper. it might take a lil longer ro get done cuz the students are learning. when i went to school we took outside jobs like that after clearin it with the instructor and we charged 10 bucks for shop fees and the rest was parts. other schools could very well be dif but its worth a shot since ya a lil stuck without many options at all. buy your own parts and bring them with where ever you decide to go and that will save a few bucks too. for what its worth the job isnt to hard of one if ya have somewhat of an idea what your doin. the springs and struts would need to be assembled at a shop though but then its just straight R&R(remove and replace) :D good luck man

  4. hey all i looked around for a bit to see if the info i was lookin for was posted but no luck. i am curently dealin with factory x9s in my 98 bonniville and when bass heavy track comes on and i have it turned up they pop like a mofo and was wonderin if anybody has used thes before and if ya think it would help out with that. http://www.woofersetc.com/p6193/SPP69DSF--...ker-Baffles.htm

i will end up replacing them with maybe a set of components this summer or when its warmer and also not too worried about it all goin together without some modifyin(what fun would that be) the fronts are already MB Quarts and they all are just running off the H/U.

  5. hell yeah, even though we are a lil low on the income doesnt meen we need the few bucks. that ends up to be a big chunk that our country dont have and bein its a smaller amount of cash that we would see it would be like a lil extra whatever/fun cash. but then again if people spend it then the economy would benifit right? im just a dude that dont understand evrything about it all but am def thinkin about it like any other parent of younger kids. its there future

  6. shit we live in "public housing" and cost us a lil over 2 hundo a month for rent and utilities so thats cool for people like us lol. 20 damn near fills our gas tank and with 6 kids some times every penny counts. but its after the holidays so its all smooth now. its cheap to live around here but theres very lil for jobs for sure. my last was at chrysler but got laid off...fun http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mega_shok.gif

  7. lol back like 10 or so years ago my buddy had two 15" kicker comps in a sealed box and for a month i woyld stomp his shit with my jbl power 12s cuz he had one sub inverted and one reg but had all the witing + on + and - on - so it was way off lol but he was hard headed(like most kids haha) and wouldnt hear me out on changin the wires on the inverted one lol. but he did after enogh bull from me and all was good after. sorry a lil off topic but this topic brought back that funny memory for me lol. at that time they made loud sound so we didnt really take the time to listen. in my galant vr4 though i had 12" mtx 8000s all inverted and fiberglassed in the spare tire well and i didnt notice a dif and sounded great.

  8. ha cool. im gonna be using the enclosure calculator that somebody made and posted on here. if i need a few pointers would it be cool if i ask ya. im goin to make a box thats wider than it is deep to try and save space in the trunk. i have a 98 bonniville and will prob end up sealing the box to the rear seat area cuz there is a access door that goes through the arm rest in the middle of the back seat, sub facing forward. this trunk, rear deck, and 6x9s rattle like a mofo lol. on the rear side of the box ill mount the amp/amps and then make a trim piece to cover up the wiring. simple but effective lol. thanks for the input once agian. im feeling pretty confident im making a good choice by goin DC now. the Fi ssd would of been a lil bit of a hassle with the power since i choose to keep runnin the amp i have.

  9. I can almost remember the old days when I didn't have to pay into taxes. Its like once you turn a certain age you stop getting refunds.

...or child support kills any refund, well in my case lol. i havebt got a refund in like 7 years haha. back on track... cant wait to see the build man.

  10. we had that at the school i went to but the shops had dif ones. i know the hunter 9000 tire balancer brought us a bit of buisiness to our shop cuz most of the dealerships and body shops would bring in wheels they couldnt seem to balance and that machine will tell you any heavy spots and exactly where, it roadforce balences too. sorry its a lil off topic its just a very nice machine that i have had alot of time with. the alignment machine is pretty straight forward for anybody thats done em before from what i remember. i hope im thinkin the right machine too so i dont look like an ass lol. my instructors were very proud to say we had one of the most up to date shops in the state B)

  11. as a newer guy in the building i cant beleive the dif between a sealed and ported box. i first built a 1.25 cuft sealed and it wasnt the sound i desired. so then i went with a 2cuft ported box and DAMN it was a hell of alot louder. for whatever its worth the ported box is the way if you can get the space ya need. but thats just my oppinoin. take the pros advice for sure though :)

  12. ok emailed rusty. was lookin and it says the level 3 12 would use a 1.5 cube ported box... but it seems a lil small or is it just me? i got my mtx in a 2 cuft ported box now and if this 1.5 is true then im really glad cuz of the space issue i have.

  13. if u could u can go with 2 10's in a 3 cube box it'll be alot louder than 1 12" and the box would be just alittle bit bigger than the box u have right now

very true. only prob with that is im tryin to keep as much trunk as i can( need some cargo for stroller and what not) and would like to keep the amp i have ....but will keep everything ya'll been suggesting in minnd for sure. ill look into that level 3 then and one day i might just talk the woman into lettin me have a lil more room to play around with, maybe when my youngest gets a lil lil bit bigger  so DC over FI and then it must be DC over MTX 7500 too huh? lol im thinkin i should of signed up on this forum earlier lol cuz i JUST ordered my amp,sub and wiring right around that time and would of been cooler already lol. oh well huh would of could of should of dont change nothin now. im sure ill be on if that goes good with DC to build the enclosure. thanks everybody for your input and if ya have any more suggestions go ahead n throw em at me :D
