say krannyman thanks for that link. got home and was checkin it out and think that will get me where i need to be. ill try it out and let ya know how things work out and if i can get photobucket to work ill try to get some pics of it all. slow process though cuz in northern MN its cold as a mofo for sure

thanks too krannyman,ill work on gettin some dif numbers or what not. ill get the pic of my sealed box up in a bit after messin with the kids and then the visual will be up on what im goin for too. the basic slot ported box from mtx gives a 2.0 cuft enclosure. ha screw it ill post pics of both boxes, tryin to get the best of both worlds if possible. thanks again for the fast replies and ill be back after a bit.

Go to Photobucket and sign up for a free account. When done it will ask you if you would like to upload photos from your computer. Click allow to the pop-ups for this site, then you will be able to search for your pictures, when you have found them, click em and click upload. When they are uploaded there will be stuff asking if you want to add comments, you can fill that out or skip it, when done with that you will have a page with your pictures and underneath look for the box saying bb code. copy and paste that into a reply or edited post, click preview and you should see it. If not you can PM me and Ill try to help if that has been confusing.

holla holla hows everybody. the names dan and like alot meades youtube vids had me stuck. read alot on the forum and decided this is one i WILL join. not really one to get into forums cuz of imature people but this is another world when it comes to that lol. not alot if any haters,just real cool people willin to help people and have some good chats. lovin it

well man not sure what to say except if ya wanna cut back on drinkin just find something else to to in your time. i started drinkin at around 15 and got bad to where id miss work to get drunk. then it got to where a case a day was all i needed to "be happy". well im done with that part of my life and am 30 with 6 kids and payin child support for 6. its all good and i wouldnt change a thing but i can tell ya the fun will wear off fast and necessity will be all it will turn into....imo. just my personal advice cuz ive been there done that ya know. take care though

i have a pic of the first sealed box that im kinda wantin the same style of, just ported. if any one could point me in the right direction how to post pics lol like i said im not the smartest with computers but im workin on it for sure.

hi all i have seen a feww threads on hear that might be ok to post on but decided to just start from scratch to find some info.i bought a 98 bonneville and started tryin to figure out what would make our family happy with the sounds. right now we have a 12 mtx 7500 and a Kenwood KAC-8104D to power it. my ? is about a enclosure port. the idea for the car is to be simple and stealthy. i first off made a sealed box that fit side to side and very shallow to go right behind the rear seat. well sealed is , well not enough so i put together a slot ported box with the mtx specs and sounds better just not the right fit at all. so now here i am with a few numbers for box 3 and would apreciate any ideas or advice i can get. dimensions im lookin at are H-15" W-35" D-10 and would be 2.22 cuft. problem is i want it ported and if anybody can give some ideas on width,lenght etc for something like this you would be a pal forever

yeah those new solos are lookin pretty sick. wonder what kinda output they give in the small box. what its like ,87 for a 12? thats cool!

im just happy to part of this. no car culture up where im at so gotto keep up some how and why not the best site. everybody seems cool and ive seen sarcasim a bit and thats how we roll around here.

well try it out n see if its gonna workout. the more contact the better and def make sure it wont rattle loose if its part of the seat mount. im thinkin ya will be cool since that ground wire dont look too be no 4 gauge or bigger.

haha i got stuck in a snowbank in a movie theater parkin lot on a nice very snowy day, felt dumb for sure but it was the beater 90 olds cutlass cruiser and a few people helped push me out... but not the 2 cops a few spots over bullshittin with eachother..... im not a fan of snow, anbody down to trade residence from someplace warm j/k

ummm id like to post up a vid but its cold and snowy round here and cars just dont shine right in this weather... but summer is creepin slow. after that ill need to figure out if it would be anything to post up. pretty plain jane 98 bonneville but just got it like 2 weeks ago. maybe somebody would be cool enough to point me in the right direction on how to get vids posted and all that. in not the biggest brain on computers lol but i try.

[id say nope but would suggest taking the bolt out, sand down the area a lil to make sure its all good. if the bolt is long enough id say put the ring terminal down first, then another washer, then the rest and make sure its tight. if not an option then go for plan B, new location for ground. just my thoughs

haha MAN we were stuck watchin a tv prob the same year for sooo long til we finally got a flat screen...and not because of the digital switch lol. atleast if ya ended up gettin stuck ther solo ya would have them people out back to talk to huh ha. whatever works though,function over form lol

here are the two boxes . tryin to get a ported box about the size of the narrower sealed box. any suggestions are appreciated.
