    i didn't know the Hfi's were bad at all, but then again in the caribbean we don't know many of the top of the line stuff, i must admit ive been educated alot by this forum. also yeah the gain is at about 3/4 and i haven't had any probs with it. That ending part was directed the OP but it can also be directed to you. But you have 4v out, you shouldn't need to have the gain that high.

    You don't understand the hifi line doesn't do rated. And what do you mean turned all the way up? The gain?

    Back a few years ago my step brother got his truck windows tinted and it had small bubbles in it and they said 7 days and the bubbles went away. Also told him he couldn't roll the windows down so I have no idea.

    Hard core clipping can cause major voltage drop... And plus you said it could be your gain, it would be safe to assume you meant it was clipping...

    Well first never use bass boost, so set that to 0, set your LPF to 8Ohz
