  1. I have dimensions for a new box it's just a matter of finding someone to build it for me.
  2. Yeah I did try that and I really didn't notice a difference and plus I couldn't really pull it too far cause of the stupid power wire....
  3. How about this Fire the subs and port towards the trunk lid?
  4. And I know to sand off the paint when I ground things And the very best place is directly to the frame if you have one.
  5. I need clean the grounding area down better and that will probably solve it but it's not THAT big of a dim just a little bit. Just enough to notice. And for cmam ain't that the truth LOL
  6. For right now anyways. Wanting to get more power and probably some 15"s. My lights dim with that setup LOL! I couldn't believe it. EDIT: Also need to get some Knu 8 gauge kit, because I do not think that walmart wire is true 8 gauge.
  7. If you are positive you got the ground good then it could be the amp but try moving the rcas or replacing them.
  8. That's how meade does it. He said it in one of his videos he has the master amp accessible and the others follow.
  9. What type of problems? I haven't seen any?
  10. I think you can get a Optima redtop or Yellow top for 200 bucks. I think my buddy paid around 250 for the yellow top. Red top may suit you.
  11. AQ for me too.
  12. Core 2 Quad q9400 overclocked 3.2ghz 4gb G-Skill 1066 1 250gb WD HDD Corsair 650TX EVGA 750i FTW motherboard Antec 1200 case Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Bought all the parts and built it mah self.
  13. Alright good to know! I'll have to see what's in my box-o-goodies first.
  14. Amp is screwed down to the box yes and I'll figure out something for the grommets.
  15. Also found out it gets louder with 1 or both doors open.
  16. OHHH Got confused for a second! So bring it closer to the trunk opening correct?
  17. Not for sure if I'm able to move it back that far because of the trunk bars are right above the amp so they kinda bump into the amp. As you can see the gray bars that run right above the amp. If I could mingle with the bars a bit I can slide it back.
  18. It slams really good like this right now but I want to do some experiments what do you guys think?
  19. I just read you are getting engine noise? That could be your ground or your RCA's but I do believe it to be the ground so redo that first than we can move onto the RCA's.
  20. Make sure when you remove one of the bolts from the strut tower be sure to sand down the area REALLY good before putting the ground there.
  21. What type of car is it? I have a uni-body car and I grounded to the rear strut tower and it's all good. Grounding to a seatbelt bolt is a big MEH. EDIT: Nvm car is in your sig.
