  1. Yeah because that gain knob is not a volume knob... That's probably why your lights are dimming is because your clipping.
  2. You could probably spend that much for a better system then what you found there.
  3. Please stay away from BestBuy, Too many horror stories.
  4. Just making sure Now to answer the OP, Typically running 1500w on a stock alt and battery will be perfectly fine, now when you start keeping up there in the more power area is when a rear battery would come into play and to wire the rear battery is simple run a positive and ground line from your front battery to your rear. Also doing the big 3 on 1500w and stock alt and battery would help too.
  5. Explain the big part. The big 3 is the name used when beefing up your cars electrical system. The 3 comes in because there are 3 wires that are upgraded to usually 1/0 gauge wire and they are 1. the battery positive to alternator 2. engine block to chassis ground and 3. battery ground to chassis ground. I know that Look at the part I made big.
  6. I have no idea but I just thought of this haha! DJ Kuchen, Kuchen=cake in german

  8. I just started my big 3 today, I'm leaving the stock power runs and just adding onto them. I replaced the battery ground to chassis completely and going to replace the battery ground to motor block completely.

  10. When my brother bought his car the guy let him use his plates I believe and had a proof of purchase slip deal, so if he got pulled over he was fine.

  16. That'll work, I'll check it here shortly and get back to you. I have the ground soldered the floor of the truck on bare metal. Thanks Soldered to the floor? I hope that was a mistype lol... It's got a ring terminal clamped an soldered to it an it's screwed to the floor Try and run that ground to the frame with a nut and bolt. After you grind off the paint where your grounding.

  18. Check the voltage at the front battery, if the amp isn't getting more than 12 volts and you play it the volts will probably dip down so low it will shut off. Either your ground isn't correct or something is causing a lot of resistance somewhere.
