  1. actually hes singing about "the most beautiful child".. but i like burritos better..
  2. Not sure if its been posted already but I'll give it a go. 700gigs of bandwidth is a lot and buying a dedicated server is also pricey. However you CAN get a median in there. What I mean is instead of paying for general web hosting, or a server, you need to find a good VPS provider *insert flamage here*. There are TONS of them out there that offer well over 250gb+ of space plus unmetered bandwidth for less than 60$ a month. But it REALLY depends on what your looking to pay for any real suggestions towards the company of choice. And either way you go its trial and error for you and the company.

  4. I was browsing around on craigslist when I noticed this post for someone selling a fosgate t1. ( http://cosprings.craigslist.org/for/1159473174.html ) When I clicked the link to view the sub i noticed the way he had it in a box.. and just couldnt help but laugh. I mean the subs can be mounted both ways I believe.. but this is over kill. lol.
  5. hrm if you mean the blue wire going to the left thats where the ground wire was ran to keep the radio from playing vids while the car was in motion, but its grounded to a switch so it can turn on and off. but if im being an idiot (just woke up) the blue output box is because the radio doesnt have the outputs on the back :\ so i had to splice wires to get it to have output to the amp. * recently discovered for 40$ i coulda bought the cable for the aftermarket output
  6. So I went outside to make a video of the system in my lumina and it became a very hard thing to accomplish, the camera kept raping batterys.. I couldn't start the car to give the battery some juice after sitting song long.. and half way in the middle of recording it the camera shut off.. the same time the car battery ran out of juice.. but here it is. 1x 12" JBL 250rms maxed out Low volume.. low juice.. whatcha think? just put the car on a charger so i'll post another vid in a few days when i get some batts for the cam.. and i'll actually turn the radio up a bit.
  7. So recently I haven't really been driving my car too much because a few months back I got in a wreck which resulted in my insurance rates flying through the roof. (only the misc. parts were torn off engine wise the car still runs no damage to the good stuff). So I have just had the car sitting around in the garage and every now and then I crank up what little car audio I do have and enjoy it before I sell the car to the junk yard. I've had to redo all of it because I decided I wasn't happy with the way it was all setup too many wires all over the place etc.. but it's been so long since I've messed with the car that there really hasn't been much progress but I wanted to show off what I do have, and hopefully get a few vids up of my little system. Keep in mind I'm VERY new to car audio and this system setup was the first one I ever bought and I haven't really gotten around to buying a new system. But this kicks hard enough for me to satisify myself and impress others that have no idea that my system isn't that great! *shh* Right now Head Unit: JVC KD avx33 (no audio outputs sadly) Sub woofer: 1x 12" JBL ~250rms 1000w peak Amp: Sony Xplod XM-ZR1852 ~250rms 1000w peak Power cable: 8g street wires Audio cable: 12ft Rockford Fosgate Battery: Original battery that came with the car in 97 LOL Front/Rear speakers are stock but but out no bass so its good trebble.. In the future.. 1998 Eclipse GS-T 0g streetwires Amp: Audiopipe AP30001d (little recommendation from someone right here at the forum) Sub woofers: Either Fosgate 15's DC 15's or Fi 15's And for the rest.. I have no idea but this is just a overall of the power I want. And pics.. Tore the dash off and remounted the head unit to add a converter box to make it ipod compatible via dash Since the head unit doesn't have any outputs on the box I picked up a line inverter from walmart and proceeded to kill the wiring below.. My little subwoofer in a non port box My amp which is yes.. screwed down to a piece of wood (it was getting too hot and I needed to add weight to the amp since I can't mount it. Yes! The ground cable is going down inside the tire well LOL And my cables are a bit messy after putting it all back in.. after taking it out to transfer to another car.. which I decided not to do. So what do you guys think? lol. Edit: my copy and paste misfunctioned so I had the same pics for everything.. fixed.
  8. Yeah I used the factory grommet poked a hole through it on the plus side I won't have this vehicle much longer so when I redo the system I'll be sure to add a fuse!
  9. Suppose I'll go out and get a fuse, I'm no good with fires Thanks guys, and sorry for the wrong category.
  10. Awhile back when I came into a little extra spending money I figured I'd put some audio equipment in my 1997 Chevy Lumina LTZ. At the time I didn't want to spend too much so I went to a local Car Toys to get my head unit installed that a friend gave me. It's not a bad head unit (jvc kd avx33). While I was there I got to browsing and I ended up buying a 12" JVC Sub with a cheap non ported box (yeah one sub lol). The sub is rated at 250rms and I went out and got a sony amp that pushes 250rms and wired it all up. I ran an 8g street wires cable through the firewall ( I found this the most difficult ) and all the way back into the trunk, where I added a short 2ft ground. Somehow or another I ended up busting the fuse inside the fuse holder that came with my 8g cable and I didn't put it on and I've been running the system at its max for awhile now without any issues... but I can't help but wonder what significance the fuse has and whether or not I should run out and get another. On another note I love your guys' forum it seems like a greet community and all of you who post there systems around the forums have really good setups. I hope I can surpass my 1x 12" someday and become a future GP!!
