Pretty sure you can't drive if you're deaf either....not legally anyways. I'd rather be deaf
Sure you can.
My mom's deaf and has had her license since she was 16

Hey everyone! I'm new to the SMD forum, and im new to car audio. I wanted all your advice, i hope this is in the right section. I am buying my first system very soon, and I was planning on getting the Kenwood W3013PS 12 inc subs, 2 of them. Is Kenwood a good company, considering these subs are $60 for 2 on amazon. Im not going crazy need subs and amp for $200. Im buying a box too, but ita not in the budget. So what amp are u guys recommending. It would help a lot! Thanks
xJohn23
Just stop, save for a bit.
I spent $200 on my first sub (Fi Q 12" in enclosure) than spent another 200 on the headunit and another 200 on an amp, and 100 on amp wiring lol.

man he's starting to get big lol.
20lbs when i got him, probably like 50-60 now.

Swapping your gears could help your speed, and a set of headers would make it sound better and add some power
swapping gears will make it getup faster but will kill gas mileage.
get a good tune, full headers, do a simple intake, so called "cai's" don't do much and a true one, you risk sucking up water and hydrolocking yer motor.
do a full tune-up on it and that will help a bit depending on the last time it was done.

thermostat. replace it with an oem gm t-stat, should do it. along with bleeding the coolant system
-
just stick with the oem type clutch and lighter flywheel.
stg1 is ok for daily driving, anything higher is a bitch. *had a stg4 or 5 ACT unsprung clutch in my 240sx* royal bitch and a half for stop and go

ok so the ebay kit is a no go then lol. im pretty much wanting better throttle response and a little bit more tone out of my apexi exhaust but not trying to break the bank either. should i just wait to save up for a cold air intake? or just get the short ram for the time being and then sell it when i upgrade? and how hard is it to install a cai? any drilling holes to make it go into the fender/ bumper area?
you're talking about not breaking the bank when you have an apexi exhaust that costs well over $450+?

nothing much you can do for a single slammer ka. boost it, but you'll need to build it ($1000+ for internals), all in all you'd be spending 8-10k doing it right.
Drop an SR20det or RB25det in and call it a day...
No CA18det, junk motors.

nice steve! that isf is so sweet...... 1 quick question though....isnt the reason nitrous is bad for your engine is because 1. if you run it too lean itll obviously blow up lol but mainly doesnt it stretch the head bolts? i thought i read that somewhere and that the reason alot of people dont use it..... it causes a ton of pressure on the heads and stretches them so every 2 or 3 runs down the strip they had to replace head bolts...... maybe its on a setup with more than a 75 shot lol but damn the installers do a HELL of a job makin it look clean!
props to them!

Depends on the tuning.
A good tune and what not, it'll be fine as the ecu will compensate for the additional fuel coming in. Head will be fine...

Done here, the last forum upgrade is just garbage IMO. (not a huge fan of IPB anyways).
Just gonna leave it short rather than go off about the little shit that bugs me, lol.
I'll see you guys on chat every once in a while and those other places.

WHat a waste of threadspace

Reset amp settings properly than check back. IE: Set gain level to what your head-unit voltage is, and turn off Bass EQ (bass boost and what-not). LPF to ~80hz, SSF at ~25hz

2hrs to do a fucking valve cover gasket on a i4 engine?
More like 30 minutes.. pop off valve cover, clean off old gasket, replace with new one, re-install, DONE.
Never underestimate the overcomplexity of what should be a simple job. Not to mention the noob factor. If it's the first time doing it, it may take at least twice as long.
I wasn't going by that.
2hrs flat rate dealership, jesus christ

check the gear oil level. could be low. could be clutch chatter.

Thanks guys.
Oh yeah, he's definetely a handful, loves to play and being outside.

Yup, been wanting one for a while now, came across this guy on CL. 8 weeks old, aussie/husky mix, already 20lbs
-
clear codes.
is it running good or rough?
-
Probably put in there in place of a ripped trace.
More cost effective than replacing the whole PCB and components for two ripped traces.
-
Shouldn't be more than $150 for a new alt (OEM)

restraining order really? if this guy is a rapist he wont give a fuck about a restraining order. if this was me and my gf. i would show up at his house with about 4 or 5 of my friends, dont touch him, maybe break some shit tell him if you ever so much as see him around your girl again you will shoot him. plain and simple. i dont fuck around with that kind of shit, you never know what some people will do.
He's more than likely on electronic monitoring, restraining order + him being monitored = red flag when he goes there
-
File police report, than you may be able to get a restraining order.
need new brakes to help my 26'' rims PLEASE!!

You need the wheels balanced. Have the brake calipers checked out, heavier duty brake pads/rotors.
