instead of being on here asking how long just getter done mang.
Heh... I would love to install it today, but he has to hide it from his mom... lol. I also have a feeling he's studying (rare thing IMO) for finals this week....
We've got a good 2 hours or so of available working time if we start 7 wednesday morning... (school doesn't start till 9:30, we live 5 minutes away from the school)
-
I think sometime today or tomorrow also, I will try to get together with him to see what he got and figure out where to put the wires and junk....
One thing I'm not gonna be loving is RCA's to head-unit. How easy would it be to get an 89 F-150 truck or something around there apart or pull the head-unit out??
God, I feel sooo "n00bish" now... lol.
Well, off to read some tutorials.
-
Mmm, n00b here...
I know how to install it (wiring and such) but I've never really installed a system.
-
Do you think it'd take to install a pair of subs, amp, and wire it all up? Full-size Ford F-150 or something, extended cab. Mainly just need to run RCA's and power cables and junk. How long do you think it'd take?
Have 2 hours or so to get it all in....
-
Oh yeah, the Hoopty's looking badass as usual.
-
Steve, once I get my license, I'm gonna drive down there for a demo!
Unless there's any shows in Oregon you might be attending??
The one a while back (Portland IIRC) I missed out on.....

Loud sub=DD 9915 xD

bestbuy :-P
Sorry for thread hi-jack. How old do you have to be to work at BestBuy?
If I'm old enough (16) I was hoping I'd be able to work in the computer section or car audio, or worse.... Geek Sqaud...
-
Yeah. Should be able to. ASUS Memory QVL says the 2GB model of that RAM is compatible, so I reckon the 1GB model should work.
-
Actually, two of those cards, the two will both run at x16 speed.
-
Single PCIe x16 will run at 16x speed, SLI mode enabled and the two cards will run x8 bandwidth on both.
-
Gotta love those little accidents...
My sister stabbed herself in the hand by accident while putting together a little model engine that spins or some crap....
than my old babysitters boyfriend was nailing some stuff together, nail went through wood and it went in his finger. Hospital didn't do anything to really help him, he's waiting in the waiting room and he rips it out. They wrap it up and he goes home.
-
They'd work but you'd have to loosen the timings on your current 512mb sticks to 3-3-3-8 or tighten the timings on the new ram to 2-3-3-6.
As long as the timings and such match up, you'll be fine.

Hmmm....
4 12" Alpine Type-R's (4 ohm DVC)
2 Orion HCCA-D2400 amps.
180a Iraggi alt
4 Powermaster batts
Bunch of 1/0 and 4 awg wiring. xD
JVC KD-SH1000
Ton of MDF (lol)
First build I want. xD
Now I just need a job unless Santa wants to bring me all that for Christmas.
woo-hoo!!
Oh, and a new computer that'll cost $1,600. xD
-
Bump!
lol.
Nice case bibby. Antec?
Cmon people, show off your workstation. Mess or no mess. Doesn't matter.
-
Blah!
Don't gots any money till NEXT FRIDAY FTL.
My uncle tried to get a computer at Wal-Mart 7 years ago on black friday... He said it was utter hell. He never wants to do that again. lol.
-
Thanks.
I tried Google Sketch but couldn't figure it out.... :/
AutoCAD is much easier since I used it in school also. xD
I think this box came out a LOT better than a box I designed a while ago...

Plug in iPod, don't let iTunes sync, set Windows to show hidden folders, go to the iPod trash (it'll show up as removable drive in "MY Computer", copy that folder to your bigger hard drive, unplug iPod, open iTunes, add folder, add that folder you just copied off your iPod, and wham. All the music should be there.

Do you have Vista? If so, have you tried running BF2 as "Administrator"?
Vista acts screwy with some of the stuff M$ implemented into it.
-
7800 definetely than I guess....
Don't see why Newegg lists the core clock on it at 430MHz... My 6600GT stock runs at 500MHz core and currently 560MHz overclocked.
-
-
Re-install COD4 and DirectX.
-
GDDR3 is faster than GDDR2.
You can overclock the firest one to 580MHz if it allows you to. (depends on how good the cooling is)
7800GS will out-perform the 7600 anyways.
512MB of VRAM isn't necassary unless you're playing Crysis or something.
How Long...?
