What friggin math level are you in?? Lol.
I'm in Math 1a (starting Algebra... ugh) not that I hate it, it gets boring since I took it twice last year and pre-algebra last year too... I'm a sophmore now but just barely, didn't attend school often last year and am now trying to make up those lost credit.
I usually get bored in Biology and found out that 4 18" subwoofers would still have more cone area than a single 60" subwoofer.
4*18=74*3.14=226.08" cone area
60*3.14=188.4" cone area

Hey man, good job at getting a job at a car audio shop, now if only I'd get my license and this spring I'd be working at BestBuy or some other car audio shop around here... :/

Well, I've got a Sony "xplod" tape deck, fm modulated cd player, when I'm playing bass on full and volume is at around half the deck will dim and when I turn on the dome light that'll dim too. Meh, stock alt, basically stock everything, even with engine running... Idle. Haven't tried it with it revved at around 2k RPM. I think it comes with like a 70a alt stock. 1997 Nissan P/U, king cab, 4 cylinder KA24E 2.4 liter, 4wd XE, blah blah blah. When I put a system in it I'll probably get an like 160a or 180a Iraggi alt, maybe do dual alt setup if I do go that big.

Hey, I don't think you went overboard at all. Last year this stupid fuck moved back to my school, ended up having PE with me, we all go outside to play Ultimate Frisbee, he gets all pissed of me for no apparent reason, here's all I remember from it. His name is Curtis and I'm "me" of course. lol
Curtis: Eric, you wanna fight?

Me: Um, ok?
And than he walks off....
But yeah, idiots piss me the fuck off. Just like the other day I'm walking my dog and some dumbass drop-outs that live up the street from me decide to piss off my dog. Than my 2 friends and I are chillin at the gas station hanging out with one of the employees (which is also one of our friends) and a bunch of out of towners (i live in a town called sisters, or. pop: 2k, maybe more) and they start to piss off the employees inside and saying all this stupid shit about one of them. So our friend the employee tells them to leave, and as they're about oh 20 feet away they start to say "fuck yo couch n***a" and all that stupid crap, god I HATE it when they can't talk shit to you in your face.

thats a bunch of shit... i mean, i dont sag my pants real far or nething, my shirts usually cover anything that may be showing... but still, i think its bullshit... 25-200 bones, thats just crazy... i may be wrong, but arent a lot of pants made in a way that they would sag no mater what?
That's the same thing for me, if my ass starts to hang out than I pull my pants up, as long as my shirt covers it I'm fine.
Hell the school's are starting to crack down like crazy on it.

Nah, I think Steve's running four T4001BD amps'. One for each FI 18" sub in his hoe, with the T15K in Chickens escalade each woofer only seeing 2,000 watts RMS. And I also think I read somewhere it takes like 4,000 watts RMS to get those BTL's really going.ya'll goin to hate this $2.42 here but back on topic adding another amp is not a bad idea but don't you think 8 18' and one 15K watt amp is enough adding a another one is just overkill.

It will mostly depend on how fast you can download from your ISP. So say you got a 15 Mbps DL connection a 100 Mbps router would still be plenty fast. Gigabit LAN and stuff will mostly benefit those who transfer a lot over LAN and won't take as long as 100 Mbps would.
100 Mbps will transfer at 12.5 MB/s.
1000/Gigabit will transfer at 125 MB/s.

Heh, once they get older be sure to put collars with bells on em.(If they're going to be outdoor cats) At my house I have my own cat, my 2 bros have their own cat, my mom has her own cat, than we got a veryyyy old siamese mix cat which is the family cat. Our fatest cat thought manages to catch hummingbirds by staking out the flower bed on the side of our front yard, and even with a collar with a bell on it she managed to catch one. Than my cat knows how to bite the collar latch off. Basically I have 5 cats or so, 1 dog, and 1 guinea pig.

A while back I got my friends parents old computer. They said it was crap and sold it to me for $50, and they thought the cost of the computer was only the cost of the case. Specs are Intel Pentium 4 3.0E GHz, Infineon 512MB DDR400 PC3200 CL3 2.6v RAM, 160GB ATA HDD, ASUS P4SD-LA (HP Branded) motherboard, ASUS nVidia FX 5200 128MB AGP 8x Video Card.
Oh and it's an HP Pavilion a450n.
Upgrades for it are going to be:
Leadtek nVidia 6600 256MB AGP 8x
OR
Sapphie x1950GT Video card.
2gb DDR400 RAM.

they use medium density fiberboard (mdf) to build boxes, you can get it at home depot lol
looks alright to me, what kind of subs are you putting into it?
Um, I haven't really decided yet. I'm probably going to use Pioneer Premiers or IF I can afford it than seom FI BLT 12"s.

Well tonight I felt a little bored and decided to try my hand at making a subwoofer enclosure in CAD. This time I think I got it down right.

Here's a pic of the box. I don't really know how to save the drawing itself as an image so I took a screenshot of it. The specs of it are. 15x15x18 (WxDxH) with 3/4" (whatever to use to build boxes... lol) With an interior volume of around 1.74 CF. The port size is 3 inches tuned to 32 Hz and just about 8 and a half inches long.
Let me know what you think.
