  1. x2 And, when they ask about your skills, somewhat show off what you know....because when it comes to a job opening it's like a competition.
  2. Oh alright, I get it, don't know how I missed the whole "Push Pull" concept in it. But thanks to all of you guys for the help.
  3. Ok, I get it now....but one last question, would I still need to reverse the polarities if the subs are each getting their own amp?
  4. The woofers I'm gonna use are dual voice coils, so i would get the two possitives and connect them to the negative on the amp or what do you mean? And if I invert both subs then I just hook them up the usual way?
  5. I'm thinking about doing that and yesterday I asked if it was only possible with certain subs, and they told me it doesn't matter what sub you use, that it's possible. But I read some more about it and I read that "you have to reverse the polarity on the inverted subs" and I was woundering if that was true, and if it is then how do I do that?
  6. I know what you mean, and that just reminded me of amost of the pre fab truck boxes and I just wanted to throw if out there so here it goes, the pre fab box I saw was a buddy of mine's kicker box and his box had the port coming out of the side, so that's another option.
  7. It was worth a try lol....yeah, I read that somewhere too but I'm not sure how much space you would need either, but since you have a single cab I highly doubt that you would have enough room if you face the port towards your seat unless you have bucket seats and you do the two 12's then you could do a center port, but if not then try the upward port or like the other post said (the one after my first one) try external ports.
  8. I'm looking at getting a single cab truck soon so I'm sort of planning ahead, and personally I think a blow-through would be best, but I don't know if you'll be willing to cut your truck up a bit for a bigger sub box.
  9. Yeah I know about the street racing but that's kind of understandable cuz if a person gets hit by a car going about 100+ mph then I highly doubt there will be any survivors, but taking people's cars for having loud music is out of hand. And that is one crazy neighbor....be carefule Meade :shot: lol
  10. I think it is the whole Cell Phone Service Vs. Wi-Fi, because all of the people that have posted saying they're using the iTouch aren't having any problem and the people saying they use the iPhone say they have a somewhat slow connection.
  11. Wow, can they really smash your car? I understand the whole impounding thing, but there has to be something illegal about smashing someones car.
  12. I use my iPod touch some times and I don't have any problems when I do. But I think it's different since I'm going off of my wi-fi and you're going off of your cell phones reception. Try a spot where you have a lot of reception, that should speed everything up a bit.
  13. I think the "Amlified Sound" law is everywhere (I got a ticket for that in CA), but I think it really depends on how the cop is acting or if you piss the cop off, cuz I've heard of people that only have their stock speaker getting tickets for that. So pretty much the only way to avoid that ticket really is not to test out the law.
  14. The thing is that I'm not sure if mine is under warranty, do you think they would charge a whole lot because of that?
  15. It's that same model, but I bought if off of my uncle over a year ago and I didn't bother to ask about it having warrenty or not. So that's why I'm trying to find out what all of my options are.
  16. Thank, this really helps since it gives me a few different places to check and compare prices.
  17. Yeah, mine had the touch screen too. Well thanks for the help, now I guess I'm gonna be at the for sale section looking for a new In-Dash and compare prices to how much it will cost me to fix it.
  18. About how much do you think that will run me, because I feel like it's a very good stereo and it still works and everything, the only problem is that big crack.
  19. I got in a car accident not to long ago and somehow my In-Dash's monitor cracked (that's the pic of it). I was woundering if that was fixable and if it is, where can it be fixed?
