  1. 30-32

that completely depends on how much volume the chamber has. in a 2ft^3 box tuning to 30hz will make a box that will play lower than one thats tuned to 25hz, with the same chamber volume. you cant just throw out numbers without chamber volume, and OP, send me a private message and i will help you out lol, but heres how i'd do it.

    1 lvl 2 10": 1.5ft^3 @ 30hz

    2 lvl 2 10": 3ft^3 @ 30hz

    1 lvl 2 12": 2.75ft^3 @ 28hz

    2 lvl 2 12": 5.5ft^3@ 28hz

    1 lvl 3 10": 2ft^3 @ 30hz (Will play lower than the lvl 2)

    2 lvl 3 10": 4ft^3 @ 30hz (See above)

    1 lvl 3 12": 2ft^3 @ 30hz (not really a sub-30 hz driver)

    2 lvl 3 12": 4ft^3 @ 30hz (See above)

hope this helps. if you want 4th or 6th order alignments, let me know lol.

  2. there's audiosavings, sonicelectronix, onlinecarstereo, woofersetc. i want to know wich websites i can trust. i know that audiosavings is pretty trustworthy but i was just listing it as an example. i basicly trust the audio websites that are advertised on the smd website but what others can i trust

you can trust all of the above, but i prefer to deal with sonic or audiosavings, you can also try partsexpress.com. all are very nice companies.

  3. That amp is a POS. Claims 3000x2 but only has 120 fusing. I got a couple RF amps(T400-2, T400-4) for sale. Won't cost you much more than the crappy Lanzar.

i copied the wrong link lol, i fixed it, heres what i meant to post.

    http://www.audiosavings.com/products/2-channel-Car-Amplifier/NEW-CRUNCH-PZT1400.2-1400-WATT-2-CHANNEL-CAR-AMPLIFIER/PZT1400.2.aspx

also, i know that lanzar doesnt do rated, but if you do the math it will do about the power i need, which is why i was looking at it, just copied the link from the wrong tab. 120ax14v=1680w, /2 /2 gives me 420 watts for 2 6 ohm loads, 210 per side.

  4. So im going to be running 2 selenium 10"s in my doors, and im trying to find amp that will do 200rms, on 2 channels, at 6.5 ohms, that wont break my bank account, and so far, im thinking this is the best amp for the job.

i'd like to know what you guys think tho. thanks!

  5. Those subs want 5 cubic feet common chamber tuned to 22hz, 30 sq.in(or, a 5.5"x5.5" port mouth, or 4 3" port mouths) of port, 29" long.

    Chuff chuff chuff...

Also, where did you get the t/s at?

theres nothin wrong with that port, go ahead and calculate it yourself.

and you get the T/S from DC's site? lol....

Speaking from experience, I can get port noise out of a 22in^2 port for my 10" Assassin on low notes at 2"+ excursion. I'm going to round the opening over to see how much round-overs really help. I wouldn't use 30" of port for pretty much any pair of 12" subs, even modest ones. I'd guarantee port noise with that small of a port and capable subs like the lvl3's.

I wasn't aware that DC had the specs up for lvl3 motors with lvl4 coils?

they dont, but its not too hard to figure out what they would be, my looking at the numbers and doing the calculations, also, your port noise was prolly from a poorly designed port >.> no offence, this port area is perfect for this volume and these subs, but then again, you dont have to take my word for it, i just know every enclosure i have designed thus far has been fairly decent....

  7. Ok, I'm going to do 2 boxes, one at 32 and one S U P E R low!! The one I have now is tuned high so if I'm in that mood I'll have it as well. I just REALLY want to hear these subs @ 20 something!!

My dimensions are 35x25x15 for now, probably switching everything over to my 01 Silverado in the next week or 2.

in the box that i told you, 5 ft^3 at 22hz, i can gaurentee you that box will have a better 30+hz range than a box tuned IN the 30's, trust me bud, i know what im doing lol.

and is that 25" wide, or 35" wide? i have to ask because i have never delt with that trunk before but check this buddy.
