Thats cool. I was excited about the score because everyone around my town talks s*** about q power subs but they are only like 3 dbs quieter than my 2 cerwin vega 15s.

I could probably get a little more out of them. With a bigger alt and the two extra batteries i added tonite, that should help a lot w the electrical. I was looking at the box today, and the port square inches is only like 38 sq inches. For 3.3 cubic ft, the square port needs to be around 50 or so. Im thinking that with the bigger port, i can get to 142.

I put my buddy's 2 Q Power 10s in my truck the other day. They are in a 3.3 cubic ft box tuned to around 33Hz. I was at the local audio shop today and i decided to put them on their meter. I did a 141.5. Im not sure what Hz the song was at and i dont know the name of the song. These 2 10s hit hard. My electrical was stock alt, stock battery upfront, big 3, 0 gauge power wire. The amp was a Elemental Design nine.1 wired at 1ohm. I just put in 2 power master d925s batteries tonite so maybe that will help with electrical. Let me know if yall think 141 is a good score.

I vote 10s. Ive had a 12, and 2 15s but i got 2 10s now and wow they amaze me. Drop the lows really good. Im gona do 6 10s tuned low in my ranger. I vote 10s man.

I have 1 DC level 4 12 and a elemental design nine.1 amp for sale. The level 4 is maybe 3 weeks old. The nine.1 is about 6 months old. I am asking 200 for the 12 and 175 for amp or 350 for all of it. I dont think a square port would would work because the port wouldnt have enough sq inches unless you do like a 8"x8" or 9"x9".

I just purchased 2 powrmaster d925 batteries from Chode69. When i first talked to him about them, i didnt have quite all the money but he was willing to work something out with me until i got all the money. As soon as i sent the final amount, he shipped them out that day and they arrived week later( which is today). When they got here, they were in a box taped up real good, the corner was just tore some, prolly from the shipping company. They look brand new. I would recommend Chode69 to anybody and hopefully i can do business with him again. Thanks Chode. I cant wait to get them installed and see what my voltage does.

Mine 2 15s were louder with subs and port up. I was going to do 4 12s with subs up and port to the side. Now, i believe i have decided to do 2 18s in a wall with the port on the dirivers side for the meter.

Yea 2 12s have more cone area than 1 15, but in your post, you 2 12s vs 15s, not just 1 15.

You may also want to conisder getting atleast one high-output alternator and do the big 3 upgrade unless you already have it.

Im not going to be competing with just 1 level 4 but soon ill have 3 more of them in the truck and i will be competing then. Im hoping to be close to the 150s on the TL without a wall but if im not, ill wall it off.

If those were your outside measurements, your box would be around 11 cubic ft.

If that is your inside measurements, then your box is 13 cubic ft. Im guessing that is with out port and sub displacement.

Its 1.7 cubic ft after displacement.

No, i do not have a dmm. One of my buddies may have one. My sub is a dual 2 ohm and it should be wired at 1 ohm. My wiring is postive from each coil together and negative from each coil together.

Nah it still gets warm. I think its clipping when its turned all the way up. Im getting ready to upgrade my electrical with 2 powermaster d925s and 300 amp alt. For now, i just dont turn it up full tilt.

Im getting ready to put 4 DC lvl 4 12s in my ranger with 2 sundown saz 2000ds. I heard that the level 4s cant handle much more than 1000 rms.
