For the box, im thinking 5.5 cubes after displacment with around 95-100 square inches or port tuned to 33Hz with a SAZ 3000 if i can find one. Is that a good box or not?

The box was 1.5 cubic ft tuned to 33Hz, but now, when i put the ports on the outside, the box is going to be 2 cubic ft at 33Hz. Maybe this will help the lows out and bit and maybe be a little louder and look cool also. If i dont have to work tomorrow, ill start working on it and post pics tomorrow.

Yea ill screw it to the box and let it stick in the box like a inch or so and then bondo on the inside and outside where the port comes out. I cant wait to hear it because ive only heard one box with a port like this but it was a burp vehicle. When i cut the sub hole in the face plate, should the sub hole be as far from the port or put it in the middle?

Yea i got plenty of room. I hope it bangs pretty hard. Ill prolly get some pvc tomorrow. Ill prolly have to put a piece of bracing under the pipe so it dont sag since it hangs out pretty far.

Haha. Yea. Wow, im so dumb. I think i have enough 4" pipe to do 2 4". The length for the 2 needs to be 29" long.

The only thing i could find on that site was the port length calculator. I was going off 14-16 sw inches per cubic ft and the 4" gives me 50 sq inches.

I have a box that is 2 cubic ft for my dc lvl 4 12. I was looking at some vids and saw some ports on the outside. I have some 4" pvc pipe laying around and i calculated a port length. I figured it up and i got 1 4" that is 12.5" long and it will be tuned to 33Hz. I was thinking about putting sup up, and have port out the side so the air would bounce off the door. This is going in a ford ranger extended cab. How would this sound compared to a normal slot port. I just want something different because nobody around here has ports like this.

I would black out the windows, throw some 20s or 22s on it then spend what you got left on a big system.

If thats the case, then i may just have to get one lvl 5 and 1 3000.

How do the lvl 5s compare to AQ HDC3 18s. Im trying to save as much money as i can, but i wana have good equipment and be loud.

I believe im gona upgrade to some 18s in my ranger. Ill be getting 1 SAZ 3000d for now and possibly another 3000 later, so which should i get, the lvl 4 xls or lvl 5s or lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils. This will be a daily driver and i want amazing lows and hit in the 150s. The box will be about 10 cubes after displacement.

For the meter, port on the drivers side is the best. But for just being loud, on top facing forward would be fine.

I have had experience with q power. I had 2 q power 15s in a seal box and they were loud then i put them in a prefab ported box and they were even louder. This was before i learned how to build boxes and stuff but i believe if they were in about a 2.5-3 cubic ft box with about 600 rms, they will pound.

NP. Im not a pro at making boxes, im just going off what i have done. The 10s were tuned to 33Hz and still killed the lows. Let us know what you decide and post pics.

I made a 3.3 cubic ft box after displacements for 2 10s and they kills the lows. I would think like a 4 cubic ft box for 2 12s would kill them to.

Thanks guys. In the future, im gona invest in an ipod so i dont have 40 million different cds but for now, cds will have to do.

I know this is probably a dumb question. How do you put songs from decafs slowed collection on a cd. My buddy usually makes cds for me but i want to make my own because he uses limewire and itunes and these songs aint on there. Do i save it to my music on my computer then put them on a cd from there? Thanks.

I made some price changes. 200 for the sub and 175 for the amp or 350 for all of it.

When i get the money right, im gona do 6 of these 10s in my ranger with either 3 saz 1500s or 1 saz 3500. My goal is to hit atleast 151 or above on music and maybe 155 for competitions.
